"We had a great meal here from start to finish. Every dish was well executed and the service was attentive and friendly. The mango salad was refreshing and made a good start to the meal. The prawn cakes were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. We also ordered the stir-fried squid with sambal. The squid was tender and the sambal added great flavor. The sweet and sour fish was fresh and served in a generous portion, making it ideal for sharing. To finish, we had the brownie and the pineapple dessert. Both were served warm and paired well with the ice cream. We liked that the desserts were not overly sweet."

"Stop by for some sandwiches and soups that warms the soul! The tomato soup was flavourful and not watery at all. Lick-the-bowl-clean worthy 💯 The grilled cheese sandwich was addictive to eat - there's some magic in the white bread used, which paired well with the melty cheese. They give a generous portion of smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. The boss lady was very friendly and had checked in with us while we were eating. Head straight to B3 to visit this hidden gem! There isn't much seating space and it can get kind of cramped so go early."

"my parents have been talking about 三人行 for the longest time and i finally understand the hype now HAHA. came here as a family of 7 on a monday evening and we got seated immediately without reservations which was honestly a pleasant surprise. the food here just feels really comforting and hearty, especially when shared with family and friends 🥹 the xlb was surprisingly comparable to din tai fung imo, super juicy and satisfying. my favourite dish was definitely the pumpkin butter prawn because every single prawn was drenched in the sauce and tasted sooo good 😭 the eggplant with pork floss was also dangerously addictive. some dishes were stronger than others though. the sauerkraut fish was more sour and salty than expected because we skipped the extra chilli, and the noodles were abit too mushy for my liking. but overall, most of the dishes were really enjoyable and felt quite unique compared to the usual chinese restaurants. would definitely come back again to try more dishes with my family and friends!"

"Came to Yakiniku Like at Junction 8 for lunch and the food was super delicious! The wait was around 30 minutes, but the queue system was quite reliable, allowing us to keep an eye on our turn while shopping nearby. The food was fresh, tasty, and well-marinated. The restaurant was really busy, but the staff still tried their best to serve the tables as efficiently as they could. The only downside was that the griller seemed to have quite a bit of oil left from previous diners, so it kept popping and splattering while we were cooking. 😅 Overall, it was a decent and delicious meal. Just be prepared to wait up to 30 minutes for a table during weekends and peak hours, and around another 15-20 minutes for your order to be served."

"Had a really satisfying meal at Dian Xiao Er. The herbal roast duck was the highlight — tender, flavourful, and nicely glazed without being overly sweet. The sauce paired very well with the meat. We also tried the cereal prawns, which were crispy and generously coated with fragrant cereal bits — a classic done right. The fish dish was a pleasant surprise too, with crispy texture and a tangy, slightly spicy sauce that balanced the flavours nicely. Overall, the food quality was consistent and comforting, with good portions for sharing. Service was efficient and the environment was casual and welcoming. A reliable spot if you’re craving roast duck and familiar Chinese dishes. Will come back again."

"I sort of knew we hit a hidden gem when there was a place card reserved under our name. Flavours were different. Grilled dishes were excellently done. Decor spoke so much of the place with immaculate service. The sticky date pudding was decadently tasty yet with the right amount of sweet sauce. Gosh 100 percent will return!"

"I can’t believe I didn’t find out about this place sooner. The family came here to celebrate my belated birthday & it was quite a big group of us (11), so I’m genuinely surprised that they could house us. We were sat at the back, away from the other customers & that’s a pretty good thing, because we get to actually hear each other clearly without having to speak up too much. Ordered different assortments of their pastas & pizzas & also their specials of that day, which was the vongole & steak. They serve each dish, course by course; so starters first & then so on & so forth. Servers were amazing & extremely attentive & professional. Family enjoyed themselves so much & really savoured every single bite of all the food. They missed out one of our carbonara but immediately rectified it once we informed them of it. In no time, the pasta was done. Their lava cake is to die for 😭 i have been obsessed with lava cakes that have that kind of fire thing going on, but haven’t been able to find it, after my previous favorite Italian restaurant closed down…. Chef was super kind to make me a desert for my birthday as well. Greatly appreciated & we felt so welcomed there! Definitely will come back again"

It was not the usual fare, the food was delicious and the lobster dish wowed us (and this was the $698 set). My parents were also delighted. I hope you continue to serve food of high quality even during festive period such as CNY eve. Even though there were some hiccups, but I could feel your sincerity in making sure that everything goes as smoothly as it could. Thank you for this nice experience."

"Had a pleasant dinner at The Grumpy Bear. The place is small and cozy with a relaxing ambience, good for a casual meal. The set meal prices are quite reasonable and service was good throughout the visit. The salmon was decent, though I expected the skin to be crispier. Portion size was slightly smaller than expected, but considering the price point, it’s still fair value. The truffle chicken smelled really good when served, but the truffle taste itself was quite mild. Overall still an enjoyable and comfortable dining experience."

"The place has a really nice ambience and atmosphere, very comfortable to eat and chill. The chilli crab was super good! Big crabs and worth the price (2 for $68). The sauce isn’t very sweet, unlike most tze char places. The Mani Cai was unique but surprisingly very good. Claypot noodles and hor fun were also delicious, and you can taste the wok hei. Overall, really worth visiting!"

"🐶 Pet-Friendly Vibes This is a very pet-friendly café/restaurant! They offer both indoor and outdoor dining, though it seems most pets are seated in the outdoor section. 🍝 The Main Event: Handmade Pasta All the pasta here is handmade, and prices range from around $19 to $25 per dish. Pork Dishes (The Highlight): One of their main selling points is definitely their use of pork. We tried a good variety, and they do their pork dishes quite well! I really enjoyed the Guanciale Aglio Olio—the guanciale (pork cheek) slices were crispy, the fat was beautifully rendered, and the noodles were evenly coated. The garlic used really helped enhance the overall flavour. Vongole Clam Pasta: Made with tagliatelle, this dish had a powerful hit of wok hei that paired perfectly with the right ingredients. It makes for a really nice, garlicky briney clam pasta. Ragu Beef Mafaldine: The texture of the mafaldine was good: really chewy with nice, long pieces. It is also a very filling option! Chicken Pomodoro: This tomato-based dish was pretty decent. The chicken was well-seasoned and remained very juicy. 🍟 Sides & Other Dishes Truffle Fries: Served in a generous portion and topped with parmesan cheese bits, this makes a fantastic sharing dish. The fries seem to be lightly battered, giving them a thin, extra-crispy outer layer over the potato strips."

"the mala intestines noodle is my favorite! i always either opt for biangbiang noodles or normal la mian - both are incredibly qq. i like that while the mala broth maintains its spiciness and numbingness, it’s still drinkable. the intestines was also cleaned really well and it tastes soooooo sinful. portion is very generous noodle and intestines wise, for $7.50 a bowl it’s worth coming down all the way from the west for!"
