Had a really satisfying meal at Dian Xiao Er. The herbal roast duck was the highlight — tender, flavourful, and nicely glazed without being overly sweet. The sauce paired very well with the meat. We also tried the cereal prawns, which were crispy and generously coated with fragrant cereal bits — a classic done right. The fish dish was a pleasant surprise too, with crispy texture and a tangy, slightly spicy sauce that balanced the flavours nicely. Overall, the food quality was consistent and comforting, with good portions for sharing. Service was efficient and the environment was casual and welcoming. A reliable spot if you’re craving roast duck and familiar Chinese dishes. Will come back again.

Really enjoyed the food here. The herbal roast duck was the highlight. Tender, flavorful, and the herbal gravy was amazing with rice. The tomato egg dish felt very comforting and homely too. Vegetables were fresh and well cooked. Overall, a very satisfying Chinese meal. Would definitely come back for the duck again.

Came here for a family dinner and ordered 1/4 duck, wild garlic prawns, lotus root veggie, baby kailan, beef brisket. All excellently done, every dish is well made, prompt and attentive service too despite being so crowded now. One point to note, we wish the vegetable portion could be a bit more.

Booked for CNY eve dinner here for 1st time and will be our last time. The cny food taste horrible, either too bland(look at colour of the so called fish maw soup and veg) or overly sweet not at all appetizing. Moreover the portion doesn't justify the price, especially the fish which look so pathetic in the big plate. Also for $440 paid there's not even a little dessert for us, 1st time booked a CNY eve dinner that doesn't comes with dessert. Another thing i notice after we went home looking at their menu again, i realize No free Ang Bao given as advertised only a keychain. No more Dian Xiao Er for us, super disappointing dinner.

Visited Dian Xiao Er today about 2.10pm, staff recommended us to wait a little to enjoy 2.30pm 30% discount. Very friendly and approachable. Interior of the shop was well maintained and clean. Food was 10/10 and duck is great. I also love the egg tomato which is so smooth and soft. Amazing and will be back again!
