Trattoria da Mimmo Restaurant and Pizzeria

I can’t believe I didn’t find out about this place sooner. The family came here to celebrate my belated birthday & it was quite a big group of us (11), so I’m genuinely surprised that they could house us. We were sat at the back, away from the other customers & that’s a pretty good thing, because we get to actually hear each other clearly without having to speak up too much. Ordered different assortments of their pastas & pizzas & also their specials of that day, which was the vongole & steak. They serve each dish, course by course; so starters first & then so on & so forth. Servers were amazing & extremely attentive & professional. Family enjoyed themselves so much & really savoured every single bite of all the food. They missed out one of our carbonara but immediately rectified it once we informed them of it. In no time, the pasta was done. Their lava cake is to die for 😭 i have been obsessed with lava cakes that have that kind of fire thing going on, but haven’t been able to find it, after my previous favorite Italian restaurant closed down…. Chef was super kind to make me a desert for my birthday as well. Greatly appreciated & we felt so welcomed there! Definitely will come back again

Had a really great experience here. Service here was amazing, staff was welcoming and polite. My wife and I had a great valentines dinner here. The seafood risotto tasted very similar to the one we had in Milan! We were looking all over to find something similar and we were glad we found it here. Calamari was scrumptious, texture was just nice. Pizza was tasty. Would definitely be back here to try the squid ink pasta next time.

Food was amazing, very nice ambience, staff were overall nice. The only -1 is how slow the pasta came. We ordered several pizza & several pasta. Pizza came fairly fast, but there was almost 30 min gap till we were served with pasta.

Truly a great dining experience! Our server Maricel was really attentive and warm. She’s super friendly too and helped us decide our orders. Good recommendations! Came here from my friend’s recommendation and was her second time here. She ordered a house wine too. Food is great and heard it’s usually long queue but thank God we did not have to wait. My friend made a reservation (highly recommended). We sat outside though as the inside seemed a bit too loud to hold conversations. Maricel assisted us to switch tables without any issues. We were also served bread and water. It’s a really chill place to be in and enjoying each other’s company. Will be back for sure!

A wonderful Mother’s day experience when I brought my family here. The Mother’s day menu was absolutely cracked and one of the staff, May went above and beyond and provided a free Mother’s day eclair and gelato ontop of the tiramisu. Constantly enquiring after us to make sure that we were comfortable and happy. Overall a fantastic experience and would go again.
