I sort of knew we hit a hidden gem when there was a place card reserved under our name. Flavours were different. Grilled dishes were excellently done. Decor spoke so much of the place with immaculate service. The sticky date pudding was decadently tasty yet with the right amount of sweet sauce. Gosh 100 percent will return!

Celebrated my friend's birthday at this cozy restaurant. The staff, I think his name is Shu, was very friendly and warm. The food was really good! The lady chef really put her heart into preparing the food; every dish we ordered was very delicious. Thank you for the good food! The signature drinks were okay. The lychee osmanthus drink has room for improvement; I could not taste the lychee, and it was quite bland. The restaurant was slightly warm.

I want to gatekeep this so bad but I think a good place deserves recognition. I’m only giving 4 stars because of the bad ventilation and aircon! We noticed 5 AC units but only 2 were turned on. I understand saving electricity on a lull Monday dinner service, but the restaurant was almost full during half our visit. To the owner, hope you can change that! The food was spectacular. To owner/chef and team on ground, kudos! It felt like what I could get at Amoy St. for 1.2-1.5x the price, without the frills. Drinks were good too. We loved the quirky bar/ cafesque decor but felt like the food punched considerably above its weight class for the price and setting. Please try their Iberico Pork Chops, Hamachi and the Tataki Pasta. We were concerned about the 2 man operation, but understand it is a lull weekday night, and hopefully they have a bigger operation on Fridays and weekends as we are seeking to bring our families here for bigger dinners. Would appreciate some clarity on this :) looking forward to make this our regular weeknight haunt when we don’t want to travel out too far for upscale charcoal grilled food.

Highly recommend the pork chop and the oyster omelette. Had the tataki salmon which is alright. Very limited parking so if it’s not raining park at Thomson Plaza and walk over. Oh they don’t charge for water! Portion is generous. Too full to have dessert for us.

Delicious food, cozy ambience, lots of small thoughts and details went into this place. A very rare gem in cut throat Singapore where everything is going corporate. Menu was vert well written with a good balance of creativity X comfort, drinks were not overlooked as well. Iberico pork chop with porcini mushroom was an amazing stand out, served medium well, it was absolutely perfect! Will be back very soon!
