The place has a really nice ambience and atmosphere, very comfortable to eat and chill. The chilli crab was super good! Big crabs and worth the price (2 for $68). The sauce isn’t very sweet, unlike most tze char places. The Mani Cai was unique but surprisingly very good. Claypot noodles and hor fun were also delicious, and you can taste the wok hei. Overall, really worth visiting!

Food is not bad but price is a bit high for zichar. The mani vegetable egg is unique but i think overrated. For the curry fish, we really enjoyed the curry but the fish tail itself is just average. Fried pork is just average as well. The salted egg sotong was quite nice and everyone agreed that its the best dish we ordered. Lastly, we waited quite a while for the food after ordering despite very few customers. But all the dishes were served hot and very quickly once the first dish started serving.

Amazing zichar experience! Literally everything we ate was GOOD. Fried broccoli, black pepper crab and their salted egg buttermilk crab was DAMN GOOD! Buttermilk chicken and XO fried rice was so so good we ordered twice!!? Cereal prawn was my fav, the prawns are PREMIUM N HUGE SOSO BIG we wiped all the dishes clean including all the sauces. Definitely recommended price affordable and super chill spot!

Amazing dinner at Beast Hideout — a real gem in the Thomson / Marymount area. We ordered three dishes: salted egg deep-fried broccoli, fried egg with money vegetables, and assam lala. Everything was delicious, but the fried egg with money vegetables really stood out — such a unique dish that you can’t find elsewhere. Food was excellent, and we’ll definitely be coming back. The only minor drawback is that parking can be a bit tricky to find. Highly recommended for anyone looking for flavorful, well-executed dishes in a casual setting.
