the mala intestines noodle is my favorite! i always either opt for biangbiang noodles or normal la mian - both are incredibly qq. i like that while the mala broth maintains its spiciness and numbingness, it’s still drinkable. the intestines was also cleaned really well and it tastes soooooo sinful. portion is very generous noodle and intestines wise, for $7.50 a bowl it’s worth coming down all the way from the west for!
Food is always good. We like the knife-cut noodles with a bit of spice. The beef is tender. Ordered vegetables this time - portion is generous.
We love the mala pork intestine noodles here. While not 100% authentic, the sweeter and slightly less spicy broth is still delicious and might better suit some palates. Order extra portion of intestines and for 11.50 you get a huge meal. Very busy but pretty efficient.
Finally tried this place. The noodles were really good and flavourful. The pork was nice (but some were tender and some were chewier). For the dumplings, personal preference, would have liked more veg in it but it still tasted good.
This is my go-to place for 刀削面!I ordered the spicy noodle with intestines, alongside a veg dish and spicy dumplings. The noodle portion is extremely generous and I highly recommend getting the dumplings! It is located in a coffee shop and can get quite hot so bring a fan along. The bill came up to $18 per pax with a main each and sides shared amongst 3 pax.
