"Celebrated my friend’s birthday here and everything was spot on. The food was awesome. The beef platter was the highlight, with cuts that literally melted in the mouth. The rice was flavourful and complemented the dishes really well too. Service was excellent; the staff were attentive to our every need without being intrusive. Just when we were about to leave, the team lead (I think!) surprised us with a birthday cake, which was such a thoughtful touch. They even offered us hot green tea to go with the cake; small gestures that made the experience extra special. A great place for regular meals, and an even better place to celebrate special occasions. Would definitely return."

"Stopped by a French-style restaurant inside Jewel at Changi Airport and tried their 3-course set for SGD 28 (drinks not included). For an airport location, the pricing felt quite reasonable. I ordered an iced mango tea on the side, light and refreshing and a nice palate cleanser. The starter was a spicy chicken sausage & clam little toast. This was actually one of the highlights. The bread was crisp, the topping had good seasoning, and the seafood savory combination worked really well without being too heavy. For the main, I chose the half roast chicken with mushroom cream sauce. The chicken itself was excellent, tender, juicy, and nicely roasted with good skin texture. The mushroom sauce, however, was the weak point for me. It was creamy but mild and didn’t add much depth. I think I might enjoy the dish more with one of their alternative sauces. Dessert was a bubble tea pudding. Pleasant and satisfying, though more of a fun ending than a memorable one. Service was friendly. Ordering is done by scanning a QR code at the table and paying at the counter afterward, and the staff were helpful explaining the process. Overall, I’m undecided about returning immediately, but the menu is quite extensive, so I would consider coming back to explore other dishes."

"Had a wonderful dining experience here! The crab was incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection — definitely the highlight of the meal. The staff (Tina and Hong) were attentive, friendly, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout. Service was prompt and professional. Although the air conditioning in the private room was faulty, the team arranged an air cooler to ensure our comfort, which we really appreciated. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for quality seafood and great hospitality!” Will definitely go back again."

"Had a wonderful dining experience at Aburi-En in Jewel Changi Airport! The aburi (flame-seared) dishes were absolutely outstanding — perfectly charred on the outside with incredible depth of flavour. What impressed me was their menu variety. Unlike many Japanese wagyu BBQ restaurants that focus almost exclusively on beef, Aburi-En offers a fair selection of poultry and pork options too, so diners with different preferences are well catered for. We tried two ramens — one with pork collar and one with pork belly — and both were grilled to a perfect tender texture. No matter which cut you go for, the pork is cooked just right! That said, the grilled chicken was a slight letdown. The thigh pieces were noticeably small and felt like pre-packed chicken rather than fresh, which was a little disappointing compared to the quality of the other meats. The presentation was beautiful and the staff were attentive and warm throughout our visit. Overall still a great spot and highly recommended — just stick to the pork or poultry alternatives over the grilled chicken! ⭐⭐⭐⭐"

"Came here for a quick bite to eat. Walked in without a reservation and staff were very accommodating. It was a weeknight so seemed pretty quiet with only a few tables. Food was very good, the chow mein was cooked well and flavoursome. They did a good rendition of sweet and sour pork. The whitebait starter was well seasoned. Staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. The table next to us ordered Peking duck and it looked very good."

"Really enjoyed our meal at Kei Seafood Don!We ordered the Signature Seafood Don and Scallop Seafood Don, and both were super fresh and generous with ingredients. The seafood variety was impressive — salmon, tuna, scallops, roe and more, all paired really well with the rice and seaweed. The scallops were especially fresh, sweet and thick-cut. Each set also came with miso soup and salad, which made the meal feel very complete. We also liked the Japanese side dishes like edamame and chawanmushi. Great presentation, fresh ingredients and a very satisfying Japanese seafood bowl experience. Will definitely come back again!"

"Will never dine here again! Not worth the $$ at all! Food was not that wow. Minestrone was too sweet, sea bass was bland and not warm. Only a few pathetic strands of mushrooms was on the pasta. And none of the 5 dishes I ordered was hot when served. What’s worse is order was placed at about 7pm and they only started serving the food at about 7.30, all food was only served after a more than a long 40 min wait. Expected lasagna to be served hot, it wasn’t anything near warm. Gave feedback to the staff, all he could say was the kitchen is small. Is that the diners problem? What I observed was they cook the same dish at one time. The table behind me came about 10 minutes after me, but they get the same dish as me at the same time! Atmosphere was good only because of the location."

"Food was okay overall. The noodles were described as having ginger, but I couldn’t really taste it. The pork char siu was flavorful, though a bit chewy for my preference. Service was fast and the food arrived quickly, which was great. They also have a designated space for luggage, so you don’t have to drag it to your table—very convenient if you’re traveling. One thing that dampened the experience slightly was the upselling. A server approached us to promote extra products and it felt a bit pushy. It would be nicer if the items were simply displayed for guests to browse rather than being actively pushed, as it made the interaction feel a little pressured."

"Food is not too bad but it has it quirks. I ordered oysters which were very thin and in my view a little expensive at $3.50 per piece. The oyster flesh were still attached to the shell. I wanted a glass of white wine to go with my oysters but they only have one choice that is sold by the glass, a Chardonnay which didn’t really pair well with the oysters. The thousand layer potatoes was good and rather interesting. The bone marrow lacks salt and the escargots on it were overcooked and fairly lacking in taste though the gravy was good with bread. I asked for water and they said it cost 50 cents a cup. They only open at 12, which is a little strange cos everyone else is opened earlier and ready for lunch service. I have seen customers who walked away and in such competitive environment, they really shld be opening earlier for a growing lunch crowd that wants to eat before noon. I do hope they will consider to open at 11:30am."

"Real user reviews: I had a great experience here, especially thanks to Ihkram, who provided excellent service. He kindly helped me change my order to a set meal even though that option wasn't available on the app. I really appreciated his initiative and helpfulness. One small suggestion would be the bowl used for the soft-boiled eggs. It's quite deep compared to the shallow saucers used by Ya Kun or Toast Box, so it's harder to eat the eggs without breaking the yolk. Other than that, I really enjoyed the colourful gem biscuits, and the free-flow cendol is a thoughtful and generous touch. I have also tried both the iced kopi and iced teh tarik on previous visits. The iced kopi is very kaw—it reminds me of the rich, thick coffee served at JB's coffee diver, their TV coffee. Personally, I prefer it over Oriental Kopi. As for the teh tarik, I find it much nicer than Ipoh Town's. It's so good that I came back just to order it again. One observation from a customer's perspective is that the shop is not easy to search for on ChatGPT, and the logo is not very memorable because the wording is difficult to read from a distance. The sampan icon does help people guess the name, but making the text more visible could improve brand recognition. Overall, these are just my honest observations and personal experience. I enjoyed my visits and would definitely come back."

"We came for dinner just before breaking our fast. This restaurant is my favorite place whenever I want to enjoy delicious halal dim sum. They also provided complimentary dates for iftar, which was a thoughtful gesture. We ordered the vermicelli roll with roasted chicken — it was still as tasty as before. The deep-fried spring rolls were crispy with generous fillings. The spinach dim sum with prawn was also delicious, packed with prawns and had a slightly crispy texture when bitten into. The deep-fried crispy squid was the best! However, the dry duck noodles were disappointing. The duck meat was tough and difficult to chew, which was unfortunate as we had really been looking forward to enjoying it after the dim sum. We hope the restaurant can improve this in the future."

"My dinner at Penang Culture in Terminal 1 was simply delightful! 🤩 The curry chicken was wonderfully flavorful, and the char kway teow was perfectly balanced. The freshly fried tahu goreng was a standout, and the long beans omelette and vegetable fried rice were also delicious. 🍜 The service was superb, and the atmosphere was fantastic. I'll definitely be back! ✨😋."
