Poulet Bijou - Jewel Changi Airport

Stopped by a French-style restaurant inside Jewel at Changi Airport and tried their 3-course set for SGD 28 (drinks not included). For an airport location, the pricing felt quite reasonable. I ordered an iced mango tea on the side, light and refreshing and a nice palate cleanser. The starter was a spicy chicken sausage & clam little toast. This was actually one of the highlights. The bread was crisp, the topping had good seasoning, and the seafood savory combination worked really well without being too heavy. For the main, I chose the half roast chicken with mushroom cream sauce. The chicken itself was excellent, tender, juicy, and nicely roasted with good skin texture. The mushroom sauce, however, was the weak point for me. It was creamy but mild and didn’t add much depth. I think I might enjoy the dish more with one of their alternative sauces. Dessert was a bubble tea pudding. Pleasant and satisfying, though more of a fun ending than a memorable one. Service was friendly. Ordering is done by scanning a QR code at the table and paying at the counter afterward, and the staff were helpful explaining the process. Overall, I’m undecided about returning immediately, but the menu is quite extensive, so I would consider coming back to explore other dishes.

Every single food we ordered was amazing! Try the Diane Sauce (Turkey Bacon & Mushroom) it was SUPER GOOD. The service staff were attentive and super helpful! Amazing overall first experience.Nurul was especially helpful and friendly. Really made the experience better than it already was!

Came in later when my family was already seated, was approached by a friendly staff Nurul Ain with a smile and brought to be seated with my family, she even went the extra mile to get me a chair. Overall experience we had a wonderful dinner here. The portions were generous, and the quality of the food was top-notch. The desserts are a must-try! Thank you to the Poulet team for the great service and making our family dinner so enjoyable.

Had this yesterday on 18th May 2026 for lunch. The half chicken, broccoli and brussel sprouts and mac and cheese were good. Tasty, juicy and the mushroom sauce is excellent. We also ordered the salmon pot pie and this was unfortunately not as good. The salmon was very fishy. The color of the salmon was also very pale. We couldn’t finish the pot pie due to the fishiness. After payment, we mentioned to the staff as well for feedback on the pot pie. Apparently, they are aware of the pot pie salmon being fishy and they have received this feedback many times but the kitchen insists salmon was supposedly freshly bought. Something to look into. In short, come for the chicken only.

The half chicken was just splendid with a side of Mac and cheese as well as truffle mash potatoes. The Sea-bass was extremely soft and when paired with the sauce provided it created a stir of flavour in our mouths. Afterwards the dessert of caramel French toast left a sweetness that enveloped the savoury feeling after my meal. My two kids loved the meal and begged to come again.
