Real user reviews: I had a great experience here, especially thanks to Ihkram, who provided excellent service. He kindly helped me change my order to a set meal even though that option wasn't available on the app. I really appreciated his initiative and helpfulness. One small suggestion would be the bowl used for the soft-boiled eggs. It's quite deep compared to the shallow saucers used by Ya Kun or Toast Box, so it's harder to eat the eggs without breaking the yolk. Other than that, I really enjoyed the colourful gem biscuits, and the free-flow cendol is a thoughtful and generous touch. I have also tried both the iced kopi and iced teh tarik on previous visits. The iced kopi is very kaw—it reminds me of the rich, thick coffee served at JB's coffee diver, their TV coffee. Personally, I prefer it over Oriental Kopi. As for the teh tarik, I find it much nicer than Ipoh Town's. It's so good that I came back just to order it again. One observation from a customer's perspective is that the shop is not easy to search for on ChatGPT, and the logo is not very memorable because the wording is difficult to read from a distance. The sampan icon does help people guess the name, but making the text more visible could improve brand recognition. Overall, these are just my honest observations and personal experience. I enjoyed my visits and would definitely come back.

We had the lunch set on a weekday. We have got the tingkat curry chicken set. The portion is small, with a cold sambal egg which is more ketchup taste. The sambal sweet potato leave is the best. My friend had the salted egg chicken, over fried and thus the meat is hard. Both side dishes are the same and goes with butterfly pea rice. Will I go back again ? NO. NOT for the set.

Order curry mee. - normal. Curry gravy less. Not enough to serve. This i am neutral. Chicken berempeh come cold not well cook. As per picture. Ask to replace one. Egg sambah also come cold. When i ask they say serve cold and the egg is not fresh. ( really meh serve cold?). I ask to change or heat up waiter say cannot Change. End up i give up the egg. Only 1 think i satisfy fully. Teh Tarik is the taste i looking for. May be my possible next visit its for the drink only

A splendid restaurant with a humongous portion of food available. We ordered the XXL sampan with the salted egg sauce, perfect for a group of 5-6. A free flow chendol and traditional biscuits were available too! The drinks were aestheticly looking and service was great! However, the seating and space is slightly squeezy, especially with baby highchair, so we had to squeeze in a little. Overall pricey, but worth every dollar spent!
