"Had a great experience at Abu Mubarak Mandi Rice. The Kabsa and Chicken Mandi Rice were absolutely delicious and served very quickly. Service was excellent. The waiter was friendly, accommodating, and always smiling. We were also treated to complimentary desserts, which were unique and delicious. The soothing Arabic music created a pleasant atmosphere, and enjoying the meal with family made it even more special. Thank you! Highly recommended!"

"Food was nice. My daughter loved the squid ink pasta. The service also was nice. They are welcoming and friendly. The lady (forgot to ask her name) was sweet to grate additional cheese for our food as me and my daughter love to have more cheese on our pasta. Will definitely be back next time. Kudos to everyone! Grazie! ❤️"

"We ordered the sweet and sour pork which was delicious 😋🤤 it was rich in flavour and got devoured in seconds by me and my family. It was the best dish! We order xing hua cao mee fen which was disappointing! It was plain, dry, and to make it even worse, the staff recommended us to order the medium size when we wanted to order the small and she said it was their signature dish.We also ordered the tofu, stir-fry beef and lor mee. Although the beef was not as nice as the others all of them passed my expectations as there were scrumptious 👍. Recommended dishes: Sweet and sour pork Tofu with prawn Lor mee"

"The food quality has been getting worse and worse. I probably won’t come back again. The only thing that was nice was the grilled skewers, haha. There were only two staff on duty, and it took a very long time to get their attention for assistance. There weren’t many customers, yet the dishes still took at least 30 minutes to be served. The environment also seems to be getting less clean compared to before."

"The Tree Cafe (Century Square) 2 Tampines Central 5, #03-34 Century Square, Singapore....I have walk pass the cafe few times and today decided to dine in. Super love the deco and vibes of the cafe....making us feel like dinning in the house...they have sofa seat, long benches, and sitting on a swing cool right....menu are awesome, alot of food, drink , dessert, many varieties....portion of the food are really reasonable. 1 thing that they can improve will be the ordering process. Hopefully, they invest QR code for ordering as cashier ordering took up alot of times. 1 of our friend birthdays and we ordered cake and request for a candle and staff assisted us to light up the candle. Overall, we will definitely be back again. Thank you ❤️"

"we’re really glad they’ve opened in Tampines, it’s so much more convenient for us now! We decided to try some of their new dishes, and I must say, if you’re someone who enjoys 重口味 (bold, robust flavours), you will definitely love these. Every dish was packed with flavour, with that rich, satisfying wok hei that makes the food extra shiok. We truly enjoyed everything we ordered and left very satisfied. ➊ Steamed Clams w/ Rice Wine S$19.90 - Fresh, plump clams gently steamed in fragrant rice wine, releasing a naturally sweet and savoury broth that’s light yet very comforting. ➋ San Bei Chicken S$16.90 - Tender chicken thigh meat braised in the classic sauce, richly aromatic and very flavourful. ➌ Kai Lan with Pickled Cordia 破布子炒芥兰 S$13.90 - Crunchy kai lan stir-fried with pickled cordia, simple but very appetising. ➍ Mapo Tofu S$16.90 - Silky soft tofu cooked in a bold, savoury and spicy sauce. ➎ Gong Bao Squid S$20.90 - crispy fried squid stir-fried in a classic gong bao style, combining savoury, spicy, and subtly sweet notes. Nicely balanced although leaning towards the spicy side, with a satisfying wok hei aroma. ➏ Peanut Ice Cream Roll 花生冰淇淋卷 S$6.90 - A fun Taiwanese-style dessert featuring creamy vanilla ice cream wrapped in a thin popiah skin, topped with fragrant hand-roasted peanuts and fresh coriander. ➐ Pork Lard Rice S$3.50 - Simple yet indulgent, fluffy rice topped with crispy pork lard and savoury sauce. ➑ Fizzy Earl Grey Sour Plum Cold Brew S$5.90 - A refreshing, lightly sparkling drink with fragrant Earl Grey notes balanced by the tangy sweetness of sour plum. Very thirst-quenching and great for cutting through heavier dishes. ➒ Pear Pu’Er Tea (Hot) 雪梨普洱茶(热) S$4.90 - Warm, soothing pu’er tea infused with pear, offering a gentle natural sweetness."

"I visited this izakaya tucked beneath Blk 824 with Donkey, and it truly felt like uncovering a hidden gem in the heartlands. The atmosphere was vibrant and full of character, highlighted by striking Japanese street-style graffiti, including a mural of a cat enjoying ramen that immediately caught our attention. We enjoyed the flexibility of the outdoor seating, which provided a breezy and relaxed setting for the evening. The food was excellent—the Ikayaki (grilled squid) was superb and paired beautifully with the Garlic Fried Rice. One of the standout aspects was the beverage pricing. I ordered the Mega Yuzu Highball at $9.90. Initially, the yuzu flavour was a little light, but the staff were accommodating and happily adjusted it to my preference. Though served with standard ice cubes instead of an ice ball, the drink remained refreshing and pleasant. Their Happy Hour deals are also impressive, with Sapporo Premium White starting from just $3.90. Service throughout was impeccable. The staff were professional, welcoming, and even offered complimentary vanilla or green tea ice cream for leaving a Google review. For anyone seeking an authentic izakaya experience with high-quality fare, warm hospitality, and a relaxed local vibe, this spot is a quintessential neighbourhood treasure. Ratings - Food: 4/5 - Service: 5/5 - Atmosphere: 5/5 - Overall: 5/5"

"Went during lunchtime on a weekend. It was packed with people but the waiting time was not long. The stir-fried noodles with soy sauce were good, love the thin noodles texture and they are good at frying their sunny up eggs well which makes dishes look appetising. The rice roll with BBQ pork tasted ok though find the rice roll texture a little tough, the soy sauce comes along with it was superb. Wife cake seems much flatter than the usual thickness I ate haha but it tasted ok. For the french toast, it tasted a little different from the french toast Singapore style, the bread is more airy and light egg taste perhaps is two bread slices compress together? Forgot to take photo of the pork chop hamburger, it taste like an old school bun from the taste of lettuce and mayo, it is nice!"

"I’m extremely frustrated with the service today. I ordered a simple “teh c kosong ice” and asked for less ice because I just didn’t want the drink to be so cold. Immediately I was told there would be an extra 50-cent charge. I even said I don’t need the cup to be full — I just want less ice. Why is that not allowed? It makes no sense to charge extra when the customer is actually asking for less, not more. On top of that, I was charged for a large cup even though I never asked for a large. Nobody bothered to check the size with me. Why assume large? If regular size exists, shouldn’t that be the default unless the customer asks otherwise? This whole experience feels like customers are just being automatically upsold or overcharged without even being asked. Very disappointing."

"I would like to express my appreciation to the team at Sanook Kitchen for the excellent experience during our family dinner gathering on Tuesday, 16th June. We had a group of 34 pax, and the entire process was smooth from reservation to dining. A special thank you to Helmi, who assisted greatly with the reservation arrangements. He provided clear and prompt information, answered our queries patiently, and made the planning process much easier and less stressful. On the day itself, the staff were attentive, organised and accommodating despite our large group size. The food was served efficiently, and the quality was consistently good. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the meal and had a wonderful time together. We truly appreciate the professionalism and effort of the team in ensuring everything went smoothly. Thank you for helping make our family gathering a memorable and enjoyable one. Please extend our compliments and gratitude to Helmi and the rest of the team. We look forward to dining with Sanook Kitchen Tampines One again in the future."

"Good food, affordable price and great customer service. The crew is very friendly and Ailyn taught us how to make bibimbap. The place is usually very packed, but i think since we went during this time, it’s just nice. We can talk to each other and enjoy the buffet. Recommended place for family and friends."
