探鱼烤鱼 - TANYU Tampines 1

The food quality has been getting worse and worse. I probably won’t come back again. The only thing that was nice was the grilled skewers, haha. There were only two staff on duty, and it took a very long time to get their attention for assistance. There weren’t many customers, yet the dishes still took at least 30 minutes to be served. The environment also seems to be getting less clean compared to before.

Decided to go to Tanyu after an offer for Pork Steak was not available. This is probably our 7th - 8th times at Tanyu. Truth be told, I do not think the standards have dropped. The fish remain succulent, the BBQ items were on the spot, the scallops were cooked to perfection. However, there's far too much green chilies and peppercorn. I used Grab App to enjoy a 15% discount and paid S$164.59 for four diners.

Great experience at Tanyu. The grilled fish was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned, with a rich broth that really brings out the taste. Portions are generous and great for sharing. Service was efficient and the overall dining atmosphere was comfortable. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys well-made spicy grilled fish.

First time here, the fish is great, lamb stick and pork stick too. Never missed their Sichuan Spicy Chicken. Service are great too. Found one best spot for dinner at East now

I used to be in love with this chain, especially when their promotion set deals were available. I remember a huge, steaming pot of fish, decorated abundantly with all manner of side dishes. Unfortunately, my previous experience was absolutely deflating. Now, prices of both fish and side dishes have increased with less generous portions. Admittedly, I thoroughly enjoyed the fried brinjal, really unique and interesting addition that honestly stole the attention from the fish. Wouldn't recommend for the relative value for money as compared to before, but quality of food and service is definitely upheld.
