we’re really glad they’ve opened in Tampines, it’s so much more convenient for us now! We decided to try some of their new dishes, and I must say, if you’re someone who enjoys 重口味 (bold, robust flavours), you will definitely love these. Every dish was packed with flavour, with that rich, satisfying wok hei that makes the food extra shiok. We truly enjoyed everything we ordered and left very satisfied. ➊ Steamed Clams w/ Rice Wine S$19.90 - Fresh, plump clams gently steamed in fragrant rice wine, releasing a naturally sweet and savoury broth that’s light yet very comforting. ➋ San Bei Chicken S$16.90 - Tender chicken thigh meat braised in the classic sauce, richly aromatic and very flavourful. ➌ Kai Lan with Pickled Cordia 破布子炒芥兰 S$13.90 - Crunchy kai lan stir-fried with pickled cordia, simple but very appetising. ➍ Mapo Tofu S$16.90 - Silky soft tofu cooked in a bold, savoury and spicy sauce. ➎ Gong Bao Squid S$20.90 - crispy fried squid stir-fried in a classic gong bao style, combining savoury, spicy, and subtly sweet notes. Nicely balanced although leaning towards the spicy side, with a satisfying wok hei aroma. ➏ Peanut Ice Cream Roll 花生冰淇淋卷 S$6.90 - A fun Taiwanese-style dessert featuring creamy vanilla ice cream wrapped in a thin popiah skin, topped with fragrant hand-roasted peanuts and fresh coriander. ➐ Pork Lard Rice S$3.50 - Simple yet indulgent, fluffy rice topped with crispy pork lard and savoury sauce. ➑ Fizzy Earl Grey Sour Plum Cold Brew S$5.90 - A refreshing, lightly sparkling drink with fragrant Earl Grey notes balanced by the tangy sweetness of sour plum. Very thirst-quenching and great for cutting through heavier dishes. ➒ Pear Pu’Er Tea (Hot) 雪梨普洱茶(热) S$4.90 - Warm, soothing pu’er tea infused with pear, offering a gentle natural sweetness.
This Taiwanese feast is about to take over your cravings 🍜✨ Abundance is redefining comfort food with a bold, modern twist — and trust us, this is NOT your average zi char spot. And the crew will keep you well hydrated with their drink promos! Rotating craft beers based on the concept of 酸 甜 苦 Tah! from just $10 per pint. The century egg noodles were cooked nicely to al dente, and they give a good amount of sauce so everything gets evenly coated after mixing. That said, the century egg flavour is quite mild and could be stronger. The lu rou fan was alright, but I’d prefer a higher ratio of fatty meat and a more pronounced braised sauce, as the herbal notes didn’t really come through. The sausage was good though, just that it could use a bit more garlic to pair with it. The chilli dumplings are good, with a generous filling and thin skin. The sauce is nice too, but could use a bit more vinegar to make it more appetising. Drinks are solid, especially the craft beer which is great value at $10. I’d come back to try more of their beers.
This Taiwanese fusion restaurant was so yummy!! Normally I don't really eat beef but the beef noodles were so tender and the soup did not have that gamey beef smell. As for their famous buns, the chicken one was actually my favourite, the chicken was so flavourful and juicy and the veggies it came with just really elevated the dish! The bun was really soft too. We got the two people set meal so it came with the popiah ice cream dessert which was really good as well, the black sesame was fragrant and the skin was soft and chewy! The staff was really attentive and friendly as well, with the menu, the food as well as ensuring our drinks are refilled and everything :)
Great food & excellent service. We love their gua bao! Addition of pickled veges and grated peanuts elevated this dish to the next level. 3 cup chix & mapo tofu are slightly on the seasoned side but still very much enjoyable if eaten with rice.
