"Rating: 4.6 / 5 stars 🤩 : exceptional value, quality offerings, hospitable 🤧 : a little salty Suggest making a reservation if you’re planning to come by for dinner on a Fri or Sat. While place looks small, the restaurant operates a second/mezzanine floor with more seats. Still, good idea to book given that it seems popular with groups due to its occasional beer tower deals. Location is superb - surrounded by tons of competition and a short-ish stroll from the nearby MRT stations (Maxwell, Tanjong Pagar - a tad further). What surprised me most was the cost-quality ratio - figured an ordered quite a lot for two but was very pleased when I saw the bill. Place is operated by a Thai (?) lady and gentleman, both in their silver years. They were both incredibly hospitable and made no request feel too big. For instance, they were happy to swap out seafood for chicken without question - elsewhere, I might have been faced with some scrutiny or rejection. Food was generally good. Flavour wise - cook was perhaps a little heavy on salt. Not an “unc” btw. A little better balance would have nearly perfected the experience here. Though, i may not be too bothered about the salt if I was already have drunk."

"The place is very clean. The staff responses are fast and they are friendly and helpful. The BBQ with spicy is great! The taste is nice to my liking. The dumplings are not shortage of meat inside and do ask for more ginger slices if you are one of them who need ginger and vinegar to go with the dumplings. The fried chicken is crispy and tasty too. The mouthwatering chicken is worth a go. Overall experience is very great!"

"Xiang Xiang is my go-to spot and it never disappoints! The best part about this place is the consistency—the food standard is always top-notch and the service is consistently warm and efficient. You have to try the 青椒皮蛋 (Century Egg with Green Chili); it’s easily my favorite. I also highly recommend the 剁椒鱼头 (Chop Bell Pepper Fish Head) and the Cauliflower—both are packed with flavor and perfectly seasoned. I was gutted that the Luffa was sold out during my last visit, but it just gives me another reason to come back soon. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic flavors!"

"Location isn't too bad, its just slight distance from China Town point. I went at a very odd timing like 4pm on saturda, and literally there was no one in the shop. For skewers, its decent but dont have wow factor. Though I must say its "cleaner" than other places in general. The meats are more tender and quantity, but its priced at that level so I think no wow factor. Went before 5pm, so ordered the lunch set, and if you do that, you can't pay with grab pay for 15% discount so please take note. We ate the fish soup, cauliflower with preserved pork and another veggie dish. The lunch set is okay in terms of price, but the taste lacks like 2%. It's just that some key ingredient seems to be missing. You expect it to be spicy, it ain't. You expect it to be slightly salter, it ain't. Generally it feels like "healthy" taste, which I'd say isnt something that I am looking for when I eat out. It's like just because I want to somewhat elevate my guilty feeling of eating unhealthy stuff, I will drink diet coke, but that's completely ridiculous. All in all, I thought having 1.6k review with like 4.9/5 rating kind of made me feel i am gonna have some good experience. It wasn't bad, but i wont repeat and going again. The bill came out S$89, and honestly I could have gotten something more decent elsewhere, for example the street near the bugis junction. Ps. If you dont get a set meal or skewer, I personally felt everything pretty expensive, at least in comparison to other shops around the area."

"Food was good and the cacao pasta with prawns and spicy nduja sauce was a very interesting and yummy item. The parma pizza was also a must try. Their crab meat pasta was a tad too fishy for my liking, although the restaurant was very generous with the crab meat which made up for it. It wasn't 5 stars because I wish the service staff were more flexible. We were celebrating a bday and wanted to open 1 wine bottle given the free corkage on Tues-Thurs. However, we were told we were not allowed to order anything at lunch prices even though we just wanted to share a lunch-priced dessert and suggested to order 3 regular mains without the cheaper lunch prices already. Their policy is too strict in my opinion given it's a special occasion too and that discourages me from going back."

"Actually I booked this restaurant accidentally. By right I should booked another steak restaurant, but somehow went wrongly. But it is a present surprise! Food quality and taste - very good. Wet and dry age steak is great. Fries is crispy, salmon is tasty…. Service- excellent. It is a working lunch, so didn’t order alcohol drink. Will go back again with family."

"The thing that disappointed me the most is I think they have a separate menu for foreigners The prices were outrageous compared to restaurants nearby. Although each dish was quite a good portion size and the quality I think was good we love the flavors. The lighting was too bright it would have been nice to have a better atmosphere in there and maybe some music playing simple things"

"Having heard so much hype about this Australian-Italian hybrid restaurant, I definitely had to check it out and of course, try all the recommended dishes. The lamb skewers were flavourful and the following waygu tartare was also decent. The standout was the oyster with the sorbet and this added a sweet dimension to the brine of the oysters. The appetisers were a standout - both the octopus and the king prawn. Both cooked to perfection and perfectly seasoned and I dare say the best dishes of the night. We had the Pappardelle (wild boar ragu) and the Campanelle (slipper lobster) and I felt that it was just a bit under seasoned. The Campanelle needed some acid to cut through the spice and the Pappardelle could do with a bit more salt. Service was good, attentive and always ensure that our glasses were full. Overall, a nice place to visit!"

"Excellent service from reception to the moment I paid my bill. The warm welcome and attentive care made all the difference. The great ambience was perfect—quiet enough for easy conversation. A special shout-out to Alex (Alessandro), who by the way is a certified sommelier who made sure we were well taken care of throughout the meal. I’ve been a frequent customer at Etna (Upper East Coast) for a while now, so I’m never surprised by the quality of the food and how good it tastes. i know it’s will sound kind of strange to compliment the steak in a Italian restaurant - but that was the dish i loved most followed by the burrata. My daughter and wife all votes for the Tagliatelle alla Callara which i also agree is the best paste of the 3 we ordered. all in all, its was a great meal and now that i know there is a Etna in the city i will be bringing colleagues here."

"31/5/26, nice to spend time with my elder son & GF at Spring Court. We have a wonderful lunch here. The food is quite exceptional, we ever order a champagne to cheers. The dim sum was very good plus we order a few type of dessert to try and share. The Yam paste was very good. The food highly recommended. The service staff were very attentive and serve us tea whenever it is empty. As we r early @ 11.00 we got a table at the ground level, there is a 2nd & 3rd level too. There some old photo regarding when they started, the decor between old & new. Overall recommend to come and enjoy their food especially."

"I went for the weekday set lunch at $25+. Super worth it and taste great. This was the best French onion soup I have eaten out of all the French places I have gone to. The cheese is just nice and melts in your mouth and the soup tastes superb. The mushroom pasta was good and not oily - only thing I wished was that the main had an option that was not beef and not vegetarian. But all good still. I ate the crepe and it was oh my goodness yummy! What was also good was that you only need to add $10 to top up a glass of wine and they didn’t serve you any random house wine. You can pick from their wine menu for the wine served in glass. :))) Lovely experience and it was a worthwhile visit."
