"Hidden gem in Changi Village! Discovered this cozy cafe through a friend and was pleasantly surprised. The $29 set for 3 courses is very value-for-money. Loved the Egg & Soldier starter, the Coq au Vin chicken was tender and full of red wine flavor, while the baked seabass was fresh and light. Desserts were a highlight—especially the baked madeleine, crispy on the outside and amazing with ice cream. Comfortable environment, friendly chef who checks in personally, and a very meaningful concept supporting rehabilitation and skill-building. Highly recommended!"

"PUTIEN is one of those places where you more or less already know the food standard will be good no matter which outlet you visit. Been here multiple times and it never disappoints. My must-order every single time is definitely the Sweet & Sour Pork with Lychee. Honestly, I’ve never had another restaurant do this dish quite like PUTIEN. The sauce, the crispy pork and the sweetness from the lychee just work ridiculously well together. The Spinach in Superior Stock is another favourite. Sounds simple but somehow it’s so comforting and addictive. At this point I genuinely feel like I could just order these two dishes with one bowl of rice every day and still be happy hahaha."

"Food and service are good. We ordered the ribs, chicken chop, pork belly burnt ends and the crab pasta and the purple cabbage slaw. The pork belly burnt ends is excellent. Nice marinate, smoky, moist and tender on the inside. Goes v well with the purple cabbage slaw. Crab pasta was v good. Generous amount of crab meat. The ribs and chicken chop were good too. Food portion are good and price is reasonable. Staff are very friendly and have keen eye for details. Excellent service. We brought a birthday cake and they provided disposable plates, cutleries and lighter for our celebration. Location is a bit remote but worth going with friends and family for the food. No frail industrial setting in restaurant. Relaxed environment. Child friendly. Free parking."

"Sin Lam Huat, commonly known as the "Two Sisters" coffee shop, is an old-school coffee shop and eatery on Pulau Ubin. It is run by two sisters who were born and raised on the island. While deciding on my lunch, I was attracted by the building’s facade and decided to dine here. This place is popular for its rustic, authentic kampung atmosphere. The walls are covered in historical black-and-white photographs of Pulau Ubin, making it feel like a mini community gallery. I ordered the following items for lunch: 1. Kampong Chicken Stir-Fry with Spring Onions & Ginger - $12 2. Beancurd with Minced Pork - $8 3. White Rice - $1 x 2 bowls 4. Bottle of Mineral Water - $2 The total cost of the meal for two is SGD24. Do note that this place accepts cash only. I arrived at 1.30 pm on a Saturday, and my food was served at 2.15 pm. The wait was 45 mins. 💡 Tip: Be patient! Since only the two sisters manage the place, the food can take a while, sometimes up to an hour during peak hours. The younger sister is in charge of cooking, while the elder sister does the front-of-house service and makes coffee."

"The first time we visited the CV outlet was when we were exploring venues for our wedding, and we immediately fell in love with the vibes; friendly, warm, and fun! There was live music that night and even little toy cars and a bouncy castle for kids to enjoy, which added to the lively atmosphere 🎈 and of course the food was delicious too! 😋 We liaised with Christine from the very beginning, and she was incredibly helpful with all our queries. She resolved any issues we had promptly and was sometimes even more particular about the situation than us🙏🏻 Our guests had a great time, and we received nothing but positive feedback about the food! Our only minor gripe was with the technical setup for the beach solemnisation, only one mic was provided. It wasn’t a major issue, but it did mean we had to pass the mic around a little. That said, all the arrangements were very flexible from food flavours to set up timings. Everything was thoughtfully catered to our needs, and we had a great experience every time we visited. Thank you for providing a wonderful experience planning our day!❤️"

"I had such a wonderful experience dining here. From the moment I walked in, I felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. The staff especially Angela, Prisca, and Serena was incredibly warm, attentive, and friendly. Their hospitality truly made the visit special. They took the time to introduce and recommend several delicious dishes, explaining everything with enthusiasm and patience. You can really feel their passion and sincerity in the way they serve guests. Every dish came, and i cleared the plate as it was that good and paired with such lovely service, it made the entire experience even more memorable. Thank you for the great hospitality~ I’ll definitely be back again!"
