I had such a wonderful experience dining here. From the moment I walked in, I felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. The staff especially Angela, Prisca, and Serena was incredibly warm, attentive, and friendly. Their hospitality truly made the visit special. They took the time to introduce and recommend several delicious dishes, explaining everything with enthusiasm and patience. You can really feel their passion and sincerity in the way they serve guests. Every dish came, and i cleared the plate as it was that good and paired with such lovely service, it made the entire experience even more memorable. Thank you for the great hospitality~ I’ll definitely be back again!
We had the best experience at The Summerhouse! The vibe is lovely and relaxing, and the food is fantastic. A special shoutout to our two servers—they were both so welcoming, always smiling, and did a great job explaining the food as they served it. It really elevated the whole experience. Can't wait to go back
We held our wedding luncheon at SummerHouse on 29/11/2025, and we are so glad we chose this venue over the traditional hotel ballroom setting. The venue itself is stunning—a perfect blend of modern vintage design with a beautiful garden atmosphere, and it comfortably accommodated our 130 guests. We also had a special request for a Teh Tarik station (Raja Tarik, PartyMojo), and the team was incredibly accommodating in making that happen. A huge shout-out to the manager, Narresh, who went above and beyond for our wedding. From our first food tasting to the actual day, Narresh was patient, professional, and proactive in addressing our many concerns. We also want to recognize Celest, our venue-appointed wedding coordinator. She collaborated seamlessly with our wedding planner (Amperian) to manage all the logistics, which allowed us to actually focus on enjoying our big day. I highly recommend considering SummerHouse if you are looking for a venue that breaks away from the conventional.
Nice food & service is good. Grilled Miso marinated Cauliflower steak is tasty. Kelong snapper fillet is crispy and tender. Japanese Hamburg bun - house made Wagyu pork patty - children said very nice. Place was warm but later air-conditioning switch on. Balcony indoor seating. Reservation in advance will be good. Will visit again.
What a disappointing experience. The venue is in a rather remote location, requiring a bus ride and a walk under the scorching sun. After finally arriving, I sat down to finish the drink I had brought along. Before I could even look at the menu or place an order, a staff member immediately came over to tell me that outside drinks were not allowed. I had literally just sat down. Surely common sense and a little hospitality would go a long way. Do they really think someone would make the trip all the way there and not order anything? I left the drink on the table while I went to the restroom and returned to find it gone. I initially wanted to sit indoors, but the indoor area felt rather warm and stuffy. Since the outdoor area was noticeably breezier and more comfortable, I chose to sit outside instead. A staff member informed me that it was a smoking area, but as it wasn't crowded and there were no smokers nearby, I didn't think it would be an issue. Big mistake. The entire evening was spent swatting flies and getting bitten by insects. When I approached the staff for help, I was told they already had insect repellent in the area but that it "wasn't working." If management is aware that the repellent is ineffective, why has nothing been done to address the issue? A spray was eventually offered after I specifically asked for it, but by then the damage was done. I had more than 10 bites on one leg alone, not to mention the rest of my body. The seafood platter was decent and the live band was enjoyable, but neither could make up for the poor overall experience. Between the lack of hospitality, the handling of the outside drink, the warm indoor seating, and the serious insect problem outdoors, this was not an enjoyable night out. I won't be returning. If you do visit, stay indoors and endure the warmth, because sitting outside may leave you as a buffet for insects.
