Hidden gem in Changi Village! Discovered this cozy cafe through a friend and was pleasantly surprised. The $29 set for 3 courses is very value-for-money. Loved the Egg & Soldier starter, the Coq au Vin chicken was tender and full of red wine flavor, while the baked seabass was fresh and light. Desserts were a highlight—especially the baked madeleine, crispy on the outside and amazing with ice cream. Comfortable environment, friendly chef who checks in personally, and a very meaningful concept supporting rehabilitation and skill-building. Highly recommended!
Top notch! I am so thrilled to share that this place is amazing 😍 Food is superb. Tasteful, delicious 😋 and beautifully presented. Chef Peter and his team is professional and dedicated to their works. Staff are amazing 🤩 they make you feel so at home yet comfortable and welcome. Always smiling and we get nice conversations. They are careful and professional. We can even feel the same from other patrons. Great atmosphere and cosy Caution, consider reservation especially during weekends and festive period to avoid disappointment.
🙂/🥹 Hits and misses. The clams were quite bad, just tasted like the smell of Changi beach with no seasoning. I liked my main of pork belly and mash. The creme brûlée was too set so it was almost cake like when it should be silky custard. Tasted ok. Unlimited bread and butter though, divine. As was the scrambled eggs on very buttered toast.
Nice setup with outdoor dining so you can bring your pets here to enjoy a meal together! No service charge here but their service is impeccable! We enjoyed all the dishes by Chef Peter! Foie Gras, Duck confit, Pork collar, Madeleine were on point. Even their bread was fresh & soft & lovely 👍
We stayed nearby for a staycation and decided to have lunch at this café with a group of friends. As we didn’t have a reservation, we were seated outdoors, which was still very comfortable and enjoyable. We ordered the three-course lunch, and every dish impressed us. The fish, confit duck leg, seared scallops, and salads were all delicious and beautifully prepared, with great flavours throughout. The service was excellent — the staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Overall, it was a very satisfying dining experience, and we would definitely recommend this place and look forward to coming back again.
