Visit Date: Mid-January 2026 On our first trip to Singapore, we discovered this restaurant through the Michelin Guide and decided to book a lunch. You can truly feel that every dish is thoughtfully designed. The flavors are layered, and you can experience different nuances within a single plate. A standout highlight for us was the exceptional freshness of the fruits and vegetables—their flavors were pure and concentrated, which clearly reflects the chef's meticulous sourcing and refined culinary techniques. The plating of each course was artistic and visually stunning, making it a joy to capture through photos and videos. I also particularly enjoyed discussing the details of the meal with my companion; it made the whole dining experience much more engaging. The restaurant's atmosphere is bright and comfortable. The staff were friendly and polite—not only did they provide detailed explanations of each dish, but they also proactively asked for our feedback, which made us feel well-regarded. The pacing was spot on, and the portion sizes were just right for lunch. A great dining experience requires everything to come together perfectly, and I am so glad we had such an enjoyable afternoon here. I look forward to trying a new menu on our next visit to Singapore.

My friends brought me here for my birthday celebration as I was always wanted to try it. I was initially skeptical as I hate vegetables and the menu is vegetable centred but oh how I was so damm wrong. Every simple bite from the amuse to even the palatte cleanser was so original and soooo good! Not overly pretentious at all and most importantly the extremely fresh ingredients shone through. From the humble pea to the ball peppers - it was truly the star of the show aside great proteins like fish and a super uniquely cured iberico pork. It was surprisingly hard to find a highlight dish when it was so consistently strong from start to finish. The service was warm and welcoming too. At the end, they even gave us a box of their fresh vegetables and some recipes to bring home and return vouchers! WOWWWW - what a classy touch. We absolutely loved our experience here and we will defo be back for sure!

Had the pleasure of dining here to celebrate our wedding anniversary, back in Dec. The food taste was awesome, but felt that the presentation didn't have that wow factor. Service was impeccable. Shout-out to the service staff and the attentive Mr YS, who was very professional and knowledgeable. Overall value for money. Definitely thinking about going back to try out their winter menu early this year. Also, probably the best bread I've ever had. Realised didn't take photo of it. Would go so far as to say, tastes better than the croissants in France.

Not every day you come across a Michelin-starred restaurant that strikes the perfect balance between being professional and proper, yet warm and genuinely personal and Restaurant JAG does this beautifully. The concept itself is very unique, with a strong focus on vegetables (worth looking up their philosophy online), and it really sets JAG apart from the usual fine-dining experience. From the moment we stepped in until the time we left, we truly felt at home. The team was friendly and attentive, with just the right amount of small talk; never awkward, never intrusive. The food was excellent; loved the salmon and the mignardises in particular. A very sweet touch was the attention to small details. They offered us with a complimentary cake for our anniversary, which we really appreciated. The ambience was lovely too, especially with the view overlooking the Singapore River. Staff were always checking in to make sure everything was going well. The final little brown little envelope surprise was something we didn’t expect and it shows how much passion the team had put in to ensure all the guest have a memorable experience. Big thanks to Chef Lawrence, Maryjoy, and the rest of the team (sorry we didn’t manage to catch everyone’s names) for such a wonderful experience. Keep up the amazing work. We’ll definitely be back.

We had our 12-pax solemnisation and wedding lunch at JAG, and it honestly couldn’t have been better. Maryjoy and the team were amazing to work with—super friendly, flexible, and happy to accommodate all our requests, from curated menus and wines to blasting our own playlist and having the whole space to ourselves. The restaurant is beautiful and filled with natural light; our photographer barely needed extra lighting and the photos turned out amazing. My only regret is that the day went by way too fast, because everyone was having such a good time!
