Food and service are good. We ordered the ribs, chicken chop, pork belly burnt ends and the crab pasta and the purple cabbage slaw. The pork belly burnt ends is excellent. Nice marinate, smoky, moist and tender on the inside. Goes v well with the purple cabbage slaw. Crab pasta was v good. Generous amount of crab meat. The ribs and chicken chop were good too. Food portion are good and price is reasonable. Staff are very friendly and have keen eye for details. Excellent service. We brought a birthday cake and they provided disposable plates, cutleries and lighter for our celebration. Location is a bit remote but worth going with friends and family for the food. No frail industrial setting in restaurant. Relaxed environment. Child friendly. Free parking.

Found this promising restaurant on Google maps that happened to be open on Vesak day. If you have not been to Loyang Industrial park, coming here is a good way to be introduced to this area, as its nestled quite deep on the far end of Loyang from Pasir Ris. Oak and Ember sits atop a multistorey carpark of TOPS, an offshore services facility and hence requires going through a security gate upon reaching TOPS. As the lift doors open, you are greeted by a bare concrete space peppered with the odd furniture and a pair of glass doors of the restaurant on the far end. The staff at the door was warm and friendly guiding a family of four plus stroller to their tables before checking in on us. We were asked if it was our first time and offered some recommendations which we were grateful for. For our first round, we had the platter for 2 and a beef brisket aglio olio. The platter has 2 of their best dishes, the beef brisket, and the pork belly burnt ends, as well as ribs, man tou style buns and pickles. For the sides we chose the fries and onion rings. The pork belly burnt ends was so juicy and tender, you could cut it with a spoon. The beef brisket was equally succulent and tender. The man tou paired perfectly with the meats, with its crisp pillows texture. The onion rings and fries were also very good, especially the extraordinary onion rings which are made inhouse. The aglio olio does not do the beef brisket the same justice though, with the beef having a tougher fitmeness than the ones on the platter. The platter was so good, that we cleaned it up and ordered 2 more plates of the pork belly burnt ends and 4 more of the man tou buns (had to order these separately at the counter as these are not on the menu). We had a really good experience with the delicious dishes and friendly and attentive staff, that we're definitely coming back again soon.

Had a great dining experience at Oak & Ember recently. We ordered the Ultimate Platter for six pax and were genuinely impressed by both the quality and portion sizes. The platter was loaded with a good variety of meats — juicy roast chicken, tender ribs, pulled pork, sausages, and crispy pork belly. Everything was nicely grilled and flavourful without feeling overly heavy. The sides were solid too, especially the onion rings, fries, and creamy pasta. Definitely a satisfying sharing meal for groups or families. We also tried the coffee and beer, which complemented the meal nicely. The coffee was smooth and well-made, while the overall atmosphere of the place was comfortable and relaxed. One thing we especially appreciated was the kid-friendly setup. There’s a play area for children, which made the dining experience much more enjoyable and stress-free for families with young kids. Service was attentive and friendly throughout as well. Overall, a great spot for family meals, group gatherings, or a relaxed weekend lunch. Good food, generous portions, comfortable ambience, and thoughtful family-friendly touches — would happily return again.

This place is very deep in loyang industrial estate. Have to enter thru the security of TOLL there is a security gantry. Just tell the guard u going to the restaurant they will open. Came on a Saturday. No reservation so had to wait a while. As the sky gets darker, longer queue starts forming outside. So I suggest must make reservation over weekends. The food and service is good. I wonder how they have manage such full house and long queue with just a few staffs. Disappointed with the mushroom soup. It's not creamy and too diluted just like french union soup. Besides this all ok. May visit again

Had the Classic Platter for 2 here and it was honestly an amazing feast. The portion was massive, though meant for two people but we were completely stuffed by the end. Definitely great value if you’re sharing. The platter came with a mix of their barbecue meats like smoked beef brisket, St. Louis pork ribs, and pork belly burnt ends. The brisket was really tender with that nice smoky flavour, and you can tell it’s slow-smoked properly. The ribs were juicy and coated with a delicious BBQ glaze, and the pork belly burnt ends were rich, caramelised and packed with flavour. It has a deep smoky taste. What made it even better was that the platter also comes with sides, which helped balance out the richness of the meats. Every bite felt hearty and satisfying. I can see why many people mention the generous portions and barbecue quality in their reviews. It’s the kind of place where the food is bold, comforting and perfect for sharing with friends or family. The meats are clearly the star of the show. Overall, a fantastic meal and definitely worth the trip. Come hungry if you’re ordering the platter because it’s a serious feast! Note: it is in an industrial area, and if you're driving, tell the security at the barrier, you're heading to the restaurant and they will open the barrier for you. Also, the waiting time can be very long so come prepared!
