"Having a private room made it a comfortable and relaxed lunch, where the kid can run around freely. The live singing was a special added touch and lifted the atmosphere. Food-wise, it was delicious and there was plenty. Everyone left full and happy. Big thanks to Zijie for letting my nephew try the drum set, which he was eyeing since the start. Thanks for a great experience!"

"Ordered takeaway chicken porridge at 7:30pm. No sides / drinks, just porridge. There was no queue, and no sign that said anything about the waiting time. Waited 20 mins before going to the counter to ask the staff if my food was ready, all I managed to say was an “excuse me” before he asked me to wait while he prepared another customer’s food, then walk away to serve it and never came back to me, obviously trying to avoid my question. Stood there insistently until another staff saw me waiting and asked me for my order, which I showed him my queue number. He then had to search for my order receipt, which took him a while too, before he told me that they are preparing it, and only then did I see them start to cook my food. Got my food after 8pm. For such a quick order they really should have gotten it out a lot sooner. There probably was no intention to even prepare my order if I hadn’t asked and I probably would have had to wait an hour. Had another customer who came to complain that he had been waiting 45 mins for his order and he had already came to check in twice. The staff (same guy who avoided me) seemed completely uninterested and barely reacted. Zero customer service. Their kitchen is not well organised and there was obviously no well established workflow. The staff were overwhelmed and there were many unhappy customers because orders were being delivered wrongly and taking too long as well. Their management needs to put better systems in place because this store cannot manage crowds AT ALL. And my order ended up being such a sad portion (only filling half the takeout container) after all that. Don’t come here."

"Was here at 7.20 am and enquired about being able to pre-order here. Staff was extremely rude and unpleasant. Completely ignored me and refused to answer. At least have basic courtesy to acknowledge someone."

"A Hot Hideout @ Junction 10 has truly become my little “secret hideout” whenever I need some quiet me-time, especially during off-peak hours. Their Mala Stir Fry is my go-to—flavourful, balanced, and consistently satisfying. I appreciate how they tailor the spice levels to suit local palates—not overly spicy or numb, but still packed with that familiar mala kick. For those who like it hotter, there’s always Level 3 and the option to add extra numbness. My wife prefers the Tomato soup base, which is rich, comforting, and just as enjoyable in its own way. While many go for the popular fried potatoes and lotus roots, I personally enjoy sticking with the regular ingredients—it’s all about how well they prepare and season everything. Great food, comfortable setting, and customisable flavours—this place is a gem, and definitely deserving of 5 stars!"

"I had an incredible dining experience at Inori! The quality of the food is top-tier; every dish was beautifully presented and tasted incredibly fresh. From the melt-in-your-mouth sashimi to the perfectly seasoned rolls, you can really tell they use premium ingredients. What made the night even better was the service. The staff were attentive, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Japanese cuisine and a warm atmosphere!"

"It's kinda a quick and easy fix if you're craving Thai food but don't be expecting too much. The service and seating is fine. Price wise is also still quite fair and affordable. The food is kinda just average with most things on the more oily and saltier side (not the best choice if you're super health conscious). Green curry and stir fried veg is probably the safest options, as in they are more authentic and taste better. Still, I find that most of their dishes lack that dynamic and aromatic flair. Omelette was also not fried well, hence it lacks that crispy texture. Overall it's kinda ok, but certainly leaves quite a lot to be desired."

"Just had lunch at this joint and I must admit the food was pretty good. Of course, there were little bright sparks, like the free flow dips, water, and crisps. Just after sitting down, we were presented with the crisps which were good, but guess msg was high, this we had to keep getting the free flow of water. The server was also really attentive, besides giving us the crisps, he also explained to us on the ordering process etc. Food wise, the taste of the food was good in my opinion and family all liked the pilaf rice. However, gripes would be that the rice was tad bit less and that the fish, though it look big was full of dough. But the spiciniess of the powder they sprinkled gave it a good kick and of course, the various sauces, such as sriracha mayo enhanced the food. Definitely a joint we would go back too, and on weekdays, lagi better would be the weekday set deals."

"I frequently eat at Greendot in Bukit Panjang Plaza, and it has consistently been a reliable vegetarian Chinese option in the area. The food is tasty, especially the vegetarian rendang and gu lu rou, and I really like the complimentary lotus soup they serve. I’ve been there many times and am consistently impressed by the quality and standards they maintain. A solid choice if you’re looking for satisfying vegetarian food."

"Tried Shabu Days at Hillion Mall recently and it was such a pleasant surprise! It’s a solo hotpot concept, which I found really nice for a simple and comfortable meal. The ingredients were fresh, especially the meat which is thinly sliced and cooks quickly. I tried a few broths and personally preferred the bonito kombu, it gets more flavourful as you cook and goes really well with the meat. What I really enjoyed was the DIY egg risotto at the end. Using the leftover broth with rice and egg, it turns into a creamy, comforting finish that makes the whole meal feel more complete. Also wanted to highlight the service. All the staff were so friendly and attentive. Honestly didn’t expect this level of service in a food hall setting, so I was very impressed."

"One star as sad that they stopped serving hard boiled eggs without any notice. We were only told after we sat down, ordered food and food is already being prepared. Would have not patronize if we know they change the offering without any written notice. Staff are really nice, just sad that they were caught off guard as well."

"Had a great experience at Sukiya. The service was efficient, and the staff made the visit pleasant from start to finish. The food was good, nicely presented, and served quickly while still hot and fresh. The flavors were satisfying and the portions were decent as well. I always come here when I need a quick and reliable meal."

"This place was strongly recommended by friends, so we decided to give it a try. Surprisingly, the food was quite good. The dishes had a nice wok hey flavour which made them more enjoyable and homely. Overall, the food was not too bad and worth trying if you are in the area craving claypot dishes. They were also giving sure-win draw in exchange for a 5-star Google review, but this is still my own honest and non-sponsored review ☺️"
