Tonkotsu Kazan

One star as sad that they stopped serving hard boiled eggs without any notice. We were only told after we sat down, ordered food and food is already being prepared. Would have not patronize if we know they change the offering without any written notice. Staff are really nice, just sad that they were caught off guard as well.

I visited around 2 pm, during off-peak hours, and was immediately impressed by the warm and prompt greeting from the kitchen staff as we sat down. Soon after, we were handed the menu and a QR code for ordering, which made the process smooth and organized from the start. Our drinks arrived quickly, followed by the side dishes. The chicken karaage was tasty, although slightly on the salty side. The takoyaki was a standout, perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside. The gyoza was decent, though again a little salty, but still enjoyable. For the main, we ordered the Kazan ramen (big) and requested it to be less salty. Even with the adjustment, it was still a bit salty for my personal taste, but I have to emphasize that it was extremely flavorful and satisfying. The broth was rich and aromatic, and the generous portions of meat and noodles made it a hearty and comforting dish. The ramen really felt like the highlight of the meal. Service throughout was attentive and professional. The waitress was systematic in serving each course, polite, and noticed when I was about to pay, promptly moving to the cashier to assist. These small touches added to the overall positive experience. Overall, this was a pleasant dining experience, with quick service, a well-executed menu, and a particularly tasty ramen that I would gladly return for. My only note would be that the sides and ramen were a bit salty for my taste, but the flavors and portion sizes make it worthwhile.

Love the free hard boiled eggs. Service is fast and attentive. Space is limited but turnover is pretty quick so no need to wait for too long for a seat. A bit cramped the space but comfortable enough for a quick meals. Skip the green tea… it’s too diluted. But the free gyoza in exchange for a Google review is nice!!😊

Love the ramen served in hot stone! It keeps the soup and curry gravy steaming hot. I love the tender and flavourful chashu too. You get free hard boiled eggs too!
