"There are meals you enjoy, and then there are meals that stay with you long after the last course. Dining at Lynette’s Kitchenwas one of those rare experiences. Every dish carried not just extraordinary skill, but intention, heart and a story. It wasn’t simply about beautiful food, it was about being taken on a journey that reminded us how remarkable a thoughtfully prepared meal can be. What made the evening truly unforgettable was Lynette herself. Her warmth, generosity and sincere hospitality made us feel less like guests and more like friends welcomed into her home. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, yet everything felt effortless and deeply personal. Thank you, Lynette, for creating something so much more than dinner. You gave us an experience that nourished not only our appetite, but our hearts. It is a memory I will treasure for a very long time, and one I cannot recommend highly enough."

"Arbora Hilltop Dining @ Mount Faber offers one of those rare dining experiences where the view is just as memorable as the food. Perched high above the city, the atmosphere feels relaxed and breezy, especially as evening sets in and the skyline slowly lights up. It’s the kind of place you come to unwind — whether after a cable car ride or simply to enjoy a quiet dinner away from the crowds. The food was hearty and satisfying. The dishes were well-portioned and thoughtfully plated, and we especially appreciated the balance of flavours. It felt like comfort food elevated by the scenic setting. Sitting outdoors with the cool hilltop breeze definitely made the meal even more enjoyable. A special mention to Sandy for her excellent service and helpfulness throughout our visit. She was attentive without being intrusive, quick to assist with our requests, and genuinely warm in her interactions. Service like hers truly makes a difference and adds to the overall experience. Overall, a lovely spot for date nights, family dinners, or even celebrations. Great food, stunning views, and wonderful service — we would definitely return again."

"Love the food here. There are many options and all are delicious, especially the Sambal chicken burger, pesto pasta(vegetarian), beef bolognese, and aglio olio. Its ambience as a vintage collector's shop is very calming. It sells many nostalgic things that were used over 30 years ago. Also provides a wide range of drinks. The game machines add to the vintage atmosphere."

"Excellent coffee in a cosy, air-conditioned space. The white was a great pick-me-up (option to add an extra shot for $1), and it’s a nice touch that they offer oat milk. Nett pricing too. Seating is limited and it can get crowded, with table-sharing and time-limit rules posted at the door. Friendly owners and attentive service make it a lovely little hideout for quality coffee."

"Was there on 24 May at 12 ish pm on a Sunday to celebrate my guest's 21st birthday. We had Le Pristine booked but my guest wanted to try Lucca's. It was very quiet - we were the only 2 patrons there before much later a group of 8 and 2 other different sets of patrons arrive. Was served by Salini and Bianca. The decor and background italian music were as italian as they get. The food was cooked by locals (which was no surprise) and the Italian owner was in Italy at that time as shared by staff. I told Salini that it would be nice to have a tiny piece of cake arranged for my guest's 21st birthday. Her response was we could pick one from the menu. We decided not to order much from the menu just 2 starters and a pasta. Nothing memorable from this visit and definitely will be heading to Le Pristine for their brunch to mark the special occasion. Note: Hello Arigato which is a few metres from Lucca's has lovely coffee and matcha beverages.... the staff was nice to arrange a nicely lit candle on a piece of cake for my guest."

"Service and ambience were great. Not much of a view even if you are seated by the window. Food wise, the gambas was well made. Grilled squid was also quite good. We could tell the ingredients were fresh. Only issue was with the paella, and we werent sure if that is how paellas are cooked. The charred parts at the bottom was quite significant, and it was too salty. Overall still it was a nice experience."

"The restaurant is located in the industrial park which is a bit out of the way. It is not crowded, service is good, we ordered the lunch set with supplement which is tasty and of value. The ala carte menu needs to order min 3 items. Set menu is a bit limited in options - 3 mains choose 1, 3 desserts choose 1... But either option we chose tasted good."

"I’ve been here many times with family, friends, and for business purposes as well. The first time, I was pleasantly surprised by the staff’s overall service and the delicious food. Since then, I’ve seen menu and staff changes and have still managed to be consistently impressed by everything and everyone here. The service staff (Yugen, Shaun, Aereus, Bradley, Shirley and most recently Eleana) are always a delight to interact with and the chefs as well work hard ensure our meals here are perfect. All dishes are nice but highly recommended: Starters / Snacks: Rosemary focaccia and Pao de queijo Mains: Sanchoku wagyu picanha and moqueca, remember to ask for off menu items as well! Desserts: Choco lava cake and toucinho do ceu Thank you for all the good times and I hope to be able to share this wonderful gem of a restaurant with as many people as I can!"

"Kudos to the owners for elevating BCM standards in singapore. We definitely need more hawkers like them. The soup is quite robust and the sole fish flavor comes through pretty strongly. Seasoning is on the stronger side for the noodles but everything is delicious. The amount of ingredients for $11 dollars bowl is very good. I especially like the meatball. Personal preferences. I prefer less gunk in the soup and there is abit of iron taste in there from the liver. Also abit less saltiness in the noodles would be still fine for overall flavour. But these are subjective and minor misses to the overall great bowl. I came in the weekday morning and didn’t had to queue. The coffeeshop is nice and airy so that’s quite nice."

"one of the best fish and chips I had in Singapore, the fish was crispy on the outside but soft and fresh in the inside, the tar tar sauce that came with it paired really well too! tried the burger too and was also as equally good, very juicy! Shared the salad too and hands down one of the best, I ever tried, I love cheese and on the Caesar salad it was FULL of cheese! Price wise, was on the pricier side, but for the quality, definitely worth it!"

"The starters paneer tikka was so good. Paneer was soft and well cooked. Mutton dum biryani was delicious and one pot of biryani is sufficient for 2 people. Chappati was well cooked and soft as well made fresh on the spot. Chettinad chicken masala was mouthwatering and flavourful Service was fast and prompt. Less waiting time. Buttermilk had a authentic taste as well. Highly recommended to family and friends. A must try food place with quality taste and reasonable pricing. It was worth it!!"

"Naked Fin offers a pleasant and convenient dining experience. The space has an open, airy feel but is fully air-conditioned and neatly arranged. A major plus is the convenient parking available outside, which makes the visit hassle-free. I went for lunch, and while the menu options were somewhat limited, the seafood dishes truly shined. I would highly recommend focusing on the fish and prawn items. The seafood pankcake was a standout – the base was incredibly flavorful and well-seasoned, a clear highlight. We paired it with the thin noodles, which did an excellent job of holding the delicious sauce. A couple of notes: the vegetable sides and the salad were rather underwhelming and I wouldn't recommend them. Overall, the meal felt refined and detail-oriented (especially in the sauce and seasoning), but the pricing leans toward the higher end. You're paying more for the craftsmanship than for abundance. It's a great restaurant to consider if you want to experience authentic Singaporean/Nanyang flavors in a comfortable setting, particularly for the seafood. It's perfect for someone appreciating culinary details. However, if you're primarily looking for high-value, large-portion meals, you might want to manage your expectations or explore other options."
