I’ve been here many times with family, friends, and for business purposes as well. The first time, I was pleasantly surprised by the staff’s overall service and the delicious food. Since then, I’ve seen menu and staff changes and have still managed to be consistently impressed by everything and everyone here. The service staff (Yugen, Shaun, Aereus, Bradley, Shirley and most recently Eleana) are always a delight to interact with and the chefs as well work hard ensure our meals here are perfect. All dishes are nice but highly recommended: Starters / Snacks: Rosemary focaccia and Pao de queijo Mains: Sanchoku wagyu picanha and moqueca, remember to ask for off menu items as well! Desserts: Choco lava cake and toucinho do ceu Thank you for all the good times and I hope to be able to share this wonderful gem of a restaurant with as many people as I can!
food was good but a little disappointed by the size of our wagyu picanha steak? looks bigger in other peoples photos so idk what went wrong i'll let my own photo speak for itself... not sure if i will revisit and try the off-menu items (read from previous reviews)
Came at a great time during weekday night when it was breezy and peaceful. Cheese Bread was a standout: maybe cause it was gluten-free, it had a mochi-like texture, and the tomato sambal salsa added a savoury kick. Corn ribs and snapper ceviche were well-executed and balanced, though fairly classic; the ceviche finished nicely with a subtle coconut note. Only gripe: the sides. Potato wedges replaced the lime cassava chips (and fries with the steak) without notice, and they were a little hard. Would’ve appreciated a heads-up. We had the following dishes. Damage $170 - Freshly Baked Pão de Queijo (Cheese bread with Tomato Sambal Salsa) - Corn Ribs with Miso Butter - Wild Snapper Ceviche - Sanchoku Wagyu Picanha with Brazilian Cilantro chimchuri - Sangria
Beautiful shopfront that doubles as a spacious, pet-friendly alfresco area. The lush, plant-filled decor evokes the chillax charm of Bali cafes and instantly sets a chill and homely vibe. We had made a reservation and were pleased to find our table ready upon arrival. There was ample space between tables, even with my pet’s stroller, which made our dining experience comfortable. Service was unhurried and we were given time to browse the menu without feeling rushed. Complimentary iced water was served promptly, which was thoughtful given the warm weather. Drinks arrived soon after, and I thoroughly enjoyed my cocktail, which was a delightful blend of pandan and coconut. The food took a little while to arrive, but the pacing allowed us to appreciate each dish individually. The wild snapper ceviche was fresh and springy, beautifully complemented by a tangy sauce that balanced the flavours and eliminated any trace of fishiness. The accompanying tapioca chips were a pleasant surprise, being thin, crisp, and perfectly fried. For the wagyu picanha, we requested for medium doneness with a slightly more charred exterior. While our idea of charred differed slightly from the kitchen’s, the beef was nicely smoked and well-seared. The potato wedges served on the side were exceptional! Crisp on the outside, fluffy within, and perfectly seasoned. It’s been a long time since I’ve had wedges this satisfying. The grilled octopus was tender and fresh, but the real star was the potato mash, with its creamy texture layered with complex flavours. We were far too full for dessert, but I’ll definitely be back to try more. Highly recommendation for anyone looking for a relaxed, pet-friendly dining spot.
Really enjoyed our meal here, still thinking about it the next day! Will definitely return again. The picanha and octopus was grilled to perfection, nicely charred and it brought out the flavour of the meat and seafood very well. Ordered a cocktail, it was good as well. Cozy place. You can tell that the food and drinks were prepared with a lot of love. Great job team!
