Naked Finn

Naked Fin offers a pleasant and convenient dining experience. The space has an open, airy feel but is fully air-conditioned and neatly arranged. A major plus is the convenient parking available outside, which makes the visit hassle-free. I went for lunch, and while the menu options were somewhat limited, the seafood dishes truly shined. I would highly recommend focusing on the fish and prawn items. The seafood pankcake was a standout – the base was incredibly flavorful and well-seasoned, a clear highlight. We paired it with the thin noodles, which did an excellent job of holding the delicious sauce. A couple of notes: the vegetable sides and the salad were rather underwhelming and I wouldn't recommend them. Overall, the meal felt refined and detail-oriented (especially in the sauce and seasoning), but the pricing leans toward the higher end. You're paying more for the craftsmanship than for abundance. It's a great restaurant to consider if you want to experience authentic Singaporean/Nanyang flavors in a comfortable setting, particularly for the seafood. It's perfect for someone appreciating culinary details. However, if you're primarily looking for high-value, large-portion meals, you might want to manage your expectations or explore other options.

My foodie friend introduced us to this place. This season Naked Finn is having a Yakitori skewer set menu using GG French Poulet. Super tasty!! I love not having to think about what to eat and get a set to try everything. We also ordered their mains to accompany the yakitori — Kang Kong, the baby squid “no egg omelette”, and THE HIGHLIGHT for me was the Yellow Croaker rice. I would go back again just for that. Then chendol is 100% 👌. We had non and alcoholic drinks as a refreshing way to accompany the meal. I loved the atmosphere — spacious and easy to catch up with friends. The staff were so friendly and chill. I like the Gillman Barracks area because it feels like a step away from the bustle and we can unwind. Naked Finn is perfect for the end of day drinks and chill. Will go back with more friends and family!

Food was not bad!! Crab chawanmushi was p nice and savoury. Cabbage was okay but it’s very rich. Kang kong salad was rly interesting although I’m not the biggest fan. Hamachi collar was well cooked and it paired well with the sambal. Service was great!!

A stalwart seafood restaurant which never fails to deliver. It's been around for a few years and what sets them apart is their sourcing of their seafood. The species name of each seafood is listed on their menu. Had their chawanmushi which was packed with umami. Their squid a la plancha is totally delicious and a must order. The prawn mee was packed full of crustacean flavour. The fish and chips was a standout, the breading crispy but the fish juicy on the inside. Paired well with the tartare sauce. Save space for their rendition of cendol as well. Service was very friendly and helpful as well.

Loved our experience @ Naked Finn! Ordered the Chilled Bee Hoon, Fish Soup & Prawn Pancake and even when I’m not usually the “chilled food option” type, loved the chilled bee hoon. The fish soup was well done with clean but great flavour and the fish was fresh; nothing was over nor underwhelming. Possibly our favourite was the Prawn Pancake as the prawns were fresh and the caramelised sauce on top of the dish fit very well with the dish! Would recommend for lunch for sure 👍 Would want to try dinner some time in future!
