There are meals you enjoy, and then there are meals that stay with you long after the last course. Dining at Lynette’s Kitchenwas one of those rare experiences. Every dish carried not just extraordinary skill, but intention, heart and a story. It wasn’t simply about beautiful food, it was about being taken on a journey that reminded us how remarkable a thoughtfully prepared meal can be. What made the evening truly unforgettable was Lynette herself. Her warmth, generosity and sincere hospitality made us feel less like guests and more like friends welcomed into her home. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, yet everything felt effortless and deeply personal. Thank you, Lynette, for creating something so much more than dinner. You gave us an experience that nourished not only our appetite, but our hearts. It is a memory I will treasure for a very long time, and one I cannot recommend highly enough.
Had such a unique and wonderful experience and Lynette’s kitchen. Every single dish we had tonight was made with love and was absolutely delicious. My favourite was the crab noodle, assam fish and the pork ribs. These foods are refined comfort food for any Malaysian / Singaporean. It’s the kind of food that tastes nostalgic, but executed at the kind of level that feels indulgent and elevated. We also had double dessert of tiramisu and cendol and they were both excellent as well. Aside from the food, it was such a pleasure getting to know Lynette, she is a quirky woman with incredible humour. A personal and memorable night compared to any dinner out at a restaurant.
We had a wonderful dining experience at Lynnette’s Kitchen for a party of 11. The food was absolutely delicious, with standout dishes like the laksa, roast beef, and especially the Crab Bee Hoon—all were flavorful and beautifully prepared. The atmosphere was warm and cosy, making it perfect for a relaxed group gathering. Service was smooth despite our large group, which we really appreciated. Lynnette is an excellent chef. Highly recommended for both the food and the inviting ambience.
The best Peranakan food I’ve had in my life — and I’m Singaporean. That’s not a line I say lightly. Growing up here, Peranakan food has always been part of the landscape — from family tables to hawker stalls to heritage restaurants. But Lynnette’s Kitchen set a new benchmark entirely. Every dish was a masterclass in layered flavour — the kind that takes patience, intuition, and a deep respect for tradition. You could taste the hours in the rempah, the care in every balance of sweet, sour, and heat. Nothing felt shortcuts, nothing felt out of place. The private dining format made the whole experience feel like a privilege — intimate, personal, and genuinely special. It’s the kind of meal you keep thinking about long after the last spoonful. If you’re a Singaporean who thinks you know Peranakan food, come here first. And if you’re visiting Singapore and want to eat something truly irreplaceable — this is it.
