"Had a meal at A Hot Hideout in NEX and honestly, it was SUPER worth the wait. The queue was quite long, which was the only downside, but once the food came it completely justified it. The flavours were really on point, rich, comforting, and satisfying with every bite. Everything felt well-seasoned and properly done, not just hype. What I liked most was how consistent the quality was. Even with the crowd, the food didn’t feel rushed or compromised. It had that proper “worth queuing for” kind of taste. Overall, I would 100% come back again. The queue might test your patience, but the food easily makes up for it."

"We ordered the Obba Set B and everything was amazing! The meat was delicious and super tender, especially the marinated pork – absolutely loved it! The jajangmyeon was one of the best in Singapore, so flavourful and satisfying. Service was great too — the staff even cooked for us at the table, which made the experience even better. We came on a Wednesday and there was still a long queue, which shows how popular the place is. Definitely worth the wait. Highly recommended!"

"The food quality and quantity was amazing for the price. Ordered Mutton and Chicken briyani, chicken 65, mutton sukka fry, 2 set parota. Seeraga samba mutton briyani rice was melting in my mouth, such a wonderful taste. The resturant director personally came and asked how was the food and taste, it was soo nice of him. The staffs were kind and service was good. Had a hearthwarming dinner with family. I Highly recommend the restuarant 👍🏻"

"Had a wonderful lunch experience here! The food was authentic and delicious, with a Korean chef preparing the dishes, which really shows in the quality and taste. The service staff from Myanmar were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and welcoming, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The lunch sets are also fantastic value at only around $8.90, with generous portions that are sure to satisfy. Another big plus is the ample parking available right in front of the restaurant, making it very convenient to visit. Great food, great service, great value — definitely a place I’ll be coming back to again!"

"We came here for brunch with our baby to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and it turned out to be such a lovely experience. I had requested a stroller-friendly spot, and they were thoughtful enough to accommodate us right away. We were seated outdoors, and although the weather was quite warm, the many fans made it surprisingly comfortable. The space is also generous, perfect if you’re bringing a stroller, and it’s very pet-friendly too (we even spotted a few big dogs happily lounging beside their owners). The food was superb, and everything we ordered was well worth it. To top it off, we got a slice of cake for the birthday and it was such a sweet surprise when they made it complimentary at the end. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but the overall experience, from the food to the service, makes it worthwhile. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. We’ll definitely be back."

"Tasty food and great service (especially from lady waitress who kindly assisted to cook our meat selection and recommend the different sauces to us) was unfortunately spoiled by the poor presentation of the meat (compare last two pics) which was very unappetising when it arrived with no separation or indication of the different flavours. Same issue with kimchi soup where the tofu and mushroom were seemingly just lumped in without thought on sizing or presentation. Have mentioned to staff and hope they can improve especially given the number of other good restaurants in this mall."

"As usual, the food is good and tasty. The weekday set meal is reasonably priced. The service at this branch however is not as good what I've experienced in other branch. The waiters are not proactive to refill your tea and it was also hard to get their attention as they were talking to each other and not looking at customers who may need service. It was also not busy so that's really poor - minus one star for this."

"Tamago-EN at NEX Mall is a Japanese egg-focused restaurant that builds its menu around egg-centric dishes like omurice, oyakodon, soufflé pancakes, and katsudon, with a warm and inviting ambiance that makes it an easy choice for a sit-down meal in the mall. The space feels cozy rather than clinical, and the overall atmosphere is quiet enough to have a proper conversation without competing with the noise of the surrounding food court. The food is the main draw and the egg preparation across the menu is where the kitchen consistently shows its strength. The omurice and oyakodon are the standout orders, with generous portions and egg work that is clearly a priority rather than an afterthought. The soufflé pancakes round out the menu well on the lighter side, though they do take considerably longer to prepare than the rest of the menu, so ordering them early or building in extra time is worth keeping in mind. Portions are generous across most of the menu and the food arrives quickly. Service is attentive and the staff handle special requests and accommodations well, which adds to the overall comfort of the experience. Ventilation in certain parts of the restaurant can run warm depending on where you are seated, so that is worth factoring in if you have the option to choose your table. One thing to note is that the set menu availability changes between lunch and other service periods, so checking what is available before ordering will save some confusion. Overall, Tamago-EN is a reliable and satisfying stop at NEX that holds up well for the price and is worth returning to."

"Celebrated Mother’s Day at Podi & Poriyal and it turned out to be such a wholesome experience for the whole family ❤️ Since many of the elders were observing a vegetarian fast, we decided to go for a full vegetarian feast — and honestly, nobody missed meat at all. Every single dish had its own unique flavour profile and didn’t feel repetitive, which is something I really appreciated. You can tell a lot of thought went into the ingredients and presentation. One of the most memorable parts of the meal was how interactive it became for us as a family. There were 2 dishes where we had to guess the main “mystery” ingredient, and it turned into such a fun little challenge at the table 😂 Bonus: we got free desserts for guessing correctly (or trying our best). Small touch, but it made the dining experience extra memorable and engaging. Our favourites were definitely the railway cutlet, uthappam tacos, coconut samosas, and the podi idli ! The ambience felt warm and authentic, perfect for a relaxed family gathering. What made the experience even better was the service — the staff were incredibly friendly, patient, and accommodating throughout the meal despite the busy weekend crowd. Overall, such a lovely place for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. Great food, warm hospitality, and a fun dining concept. Will definitely be back again! ✨"

"AS A VEGETARIAN: We were there for lunch and seemed pretty busy but got a table pretty fast. The service was okay and the staff were knowledgeable of the menu. The service was paced well and the food was tasty. They had food flavors abs the quantity to cost was pretty worth it. I still wouldn't go a far too say best italian food but will definitely recommend the place. The ambience was good and they had a lot of vegetarian options and choices. All in all, would definitely recommend to try out the place at least once."

"really authentic excellent pizza and pasta. we had carbonara, their special pizza with proscuitto buratta and fig and frutti de mare pasta. the pizza crust is thin and flavorful and crunchy in the right places, ingredients are very fresh, and the flavors are very well balanced. the pasta was incredible, very al dente and one of the best carbonara we have had so far in SG. really well done, hidden gem!! also the service was very accomodating and observant and friendly. all around 5 ⭐️, finally also the price we paid was around 50pp which was very reasonable considering the quality of ingredients, and amount of food ordered."

"I joined a friend to try their buffet lunch. It was my first time having an Indian cuisine buffet. The staff were friendly and patiently explained the dishes to us. Their buffet style was quite different — only two dishes were free-flow. After that, the starters were served, followed by the main dishes and finally dessert. You could request refills if you wanted more. Although the portions were small, there was a wide variety of food. Both of us were quite full and couldn’t manage a second round 😁 The staff were always attentive to our requests and needs. Thank you for the warm service and good food."
