O.BBa BBQ & Jjajang @ Serangoon Gardens

We ordered the Obba Set B and everything was amazing! The meat was delicious and super tender, especially the marinated pork – absolutely loved it! The jajangmyeon was one of the best in Singapore, so flavourful and satisfying. Service was great too — the staff even cooked for us at the table, which made the experience even better. We came on a Wednesday and there was still a long queue, which shows how popular the place is. Definitely worth the wait. Highly recommended!

TL;DR: Long wait to get in, but once seated everything moved fast. Easy iPad ordering, solid food, and service (shoutout Liang) really carried 💯 Would come back… just not when it’s packed. Came here for my friend’s birthday celebration and omg the wait… not for the weak 😭 But once we got seated, service was actually really fast, which helped make up for it. Ordering is done via iPad here, and honestly super easy to use — very straightforward, no stress trying to flag staff down all the time. BIG shoutout to Liang — super friendly, very attentive, and honestly made the whole experience better. He even asked about the doneness of our beef before cooking, which I really appreciated. On top of that, he took the initiative to have a conversation with us, making everything feel a lot more warm and personal instead of just transactional. Also, knowing it was my friend’s birthday, they surprised us with a free steamed egg — and wow, that was actually really good. Small gesture, but great service. Food-wise, prices are quite decent. Nothing to complain about, but also not like “omg worth queueing so long for this” kind. More like… good enough to enjoy while catching up with friends. Overall vibes still nice, especially if you’re just here to hang out. Would probably come back again — just aiming for a weekday so I don’t have to fight for my life in the queue again 😵‍💫

I saw this online and decided to come try. Surprised to see the Michelin Food sign on the door and a queue at 8pm in Serangoon Gardens. The vibes, decor and music are very authentic and the food selection is as close to K as you can. The service from our service personnel Vgen is top notch, great attention! The BBQ is good. The Highball is very good. Recommended for the pleasant experience.

Meal was superb as well. 2nd visit here and definitely will be back for sure. ___________________ Inside had good vibes and service from the lady was awesome. We had a pretty good meal. 3 btls of Big Cass at $40 was pretty alright. Ok to the meat. Pork and beef were nice. Loved the Cheese Ramen as well. Overall it was a great Korean Bbq dinner for us

Had a really great dining experience at Obba BBQ! The quality of the meat truly stood out — everything was incredibly fresh, tender, and well-prepared. You can really taste the difference, especially with their premium beef cuts. A special shoutout to Cherry, who made the experience even better. She was so warm and attentive, patiently guiding us on how to wrap the meat properly and which sauces to pair it with. That personal touch really elevated the whole meal. While the premium beef is on the pricier side, it’s honestly worth it for the quality and flavour you get. Excitingly, they are expanding with new outlets coming up at Waterway Point and Pasir Ris, expected to open in June — great news for those staying in the east! Overall, a satisfying and enjoyable Korean BBQ experience — great food, great service, and definitely a place I’d come back to!
