I joined a friend to try their buffet lunch. It was my first time having an Indian cuisine buffet. The staff were friendly and patiently explained the dishes to us. Their buffet style was quite different — only two dishes were free-flow. After that, the starters were served, followed by the main dishes and finally dessert. You could request refills if you wanted more. Although the portions were small, there was a wide variety of food. Both of us were quite full and couldn’t manage a second round 😁 The staff were always attentive to our requests and needs. Thank you for the warm service and good food.
The place is gorgeous. Came here with a friend for the lunch club menu. We thought the portions would be small but we were stuffed! Quite possibly the best naan I have. I thought the tandoori chicken was well seasoned but the curry felt a tad lacking compared to the paneer makhani. Great, attentive service:)
Great service, good staff, really enjoyed the lunch. The restaurant decoration theme makes it a unique experience. The starters came as soon as we took our seats. Served in small plates, I liked that meant, we tried more variety. Samosa and pani puri counter was great addition.
Iman and Lionel was very nice and served our big group with much patience. Service at GupShup was good as they are all very friendly and attentive. The food was a hit and miss. We had the buffet dinner tonite. The item that I liked most was the Pani puri, lotus chaat, paneer butter masala, naan, kheer and gulap jamun. It was slightly at the pricier side so cannot be visiting too often. If I were to come back, it may be for the chaats and dessert.
We went for the weekend brunch but it was very disappointing. We took two veg and three non veg sets. The samosa, Pani poori, onion Bhaaja etc, were good. The pooris were fresh and crisp. But when it came to the starters, the chilli paneer and chicken lollipop only hard corn flour in it. When you cut open the chicken you will notice the amount of corn flour used. The chicken biryani had one small piece of chicken. Naan was confusing, neither was it naan or paratha, it was something in between. The daal was good, so was paneer khurchan. Service was just about ok.
