Celebrated Mother’s Day at Podi & Poriyal and it turned out to be such a wholesome experience for the whole family ❤️ Since many of the elders were observing a vegetarian fast, we decided to go for a full vegetarian feast — and honestly, nobody missed meat at all. Every single dish had its own unique flavour profile and didn’t feel repetitive, which is something I really appreciated. You can tell a lot of thought went into the ingredients and presentation. One of the most memorable parts of the meal was how interactive it became for us as a family. There were 2 dishes where we had to guess the main “mystery” ingredient, and it turned into such a fun little challenge at the table 😂 Bonus: we got free desserts for guessing correctly (or trying our best). Small touch, but it made the dining experience extra memorable and engaging. Our favourites were definitely the railway cutlet, uthappam tacos, coconut samosas, and the podi idli ! The ambience felt warm and authentic, perfect for a relaxed family gathering. What made the experience even better was the service — the staff were incredibly friendly, patient, and accommodating throughout the meal despite the busy weekend crowd. Overall, such a lovely place for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. Great food, warm hospitality, and a fun dining concept. Will definitely be back again! ✨

I generally don’t leave many reviews for restaurants when I’m travelling, as I’m not from the place and don’t always feel knowledgeable enough to comment on a cuisine that isn’t from my country. However, I’m making an exception in this case. This restaurant was recommended to me by a relative of a friend who lives in Singapore. First of all, this is a modern Indian restaurant, so the dishes have a contemporary twist, either in their presentation or in some of the ingredients. We followed the waiter’s suggestions and tried their specialties. The dish I loved the most was the idli, which was soft and spongy, with a very interesting and delicious topping. All the other dishes were also excellent and not too spicy for our taste. Not that I don’t enjoy spicy food, but I appreciated that the flavors were well balanced, allowing us to really taste all the ingredients. The staff were wonderful. All the waiters explained the dishes clearly and were very patient in answering my questions. When we visited, the restaurant was fairly quiet, which gave us the chance to chat with both the waiters and the owner. We even exchanged phone numbers with the owner in case he ever visits our country. P.S. Send us a WhatsApp with your number so we can save it 🙂 Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience and a great dinner. I’ll leave the detailed judgment of the food to the locals, but from my side, everything was excellent, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Singapore or if I return myself.

Had a fabulous family gathering here. We are repeat visitors. The entire customer experience was just lovely end to end, thank you especially to Suren & Kiran - the food was delectable, staff were so kind, quick and engaged with us so warmly. We will surely recommend this place to others too, felt like home - but with a fun twist in the atmosphere, just to light up our evening perfectly! Thank you.

We visited P&P for the first time today as a group of 3. From the get go, the service was top notch and a lot of care and attention went into making our experience a good one. The food was also spectacular. Full of flavour whilst also being innovative enough to cater to modern tastebuds. The star of the show was the Chef’s Surprise Radish dish and the Mushroom Uttapam Tacos. Absolutely delicious! We will definitely be coming here again. Thanks for the excellent experience.

Relaxing ambience. Great service. Delicious food. Fun dining experience. I enjoyed the interactions as they explained the dishes to us and even had a fun game of guessing ingredients. I'll come back.
