really authentic excellent pizza and pasta. we had carbonara, their special pizza with proscuitto buratta and fig and frutti de mare pasta. the pizza crust is thin and flavorful and crunchy in the right places, ingredients are very fresh, and the flavors are very well balanced. the pasta was incredible, very al dente and one of the best carbonara we have had so far in SG. really well done, hidden gem!! also the service was very accomodating and observant and friendly. all around 5 ⭐️, finally also the price we paid was around 50pp which was very reasonable considering the quality of ingredients, and amount of food ordered.

La Pizzaiola is consistently serving exquisite fare. The 1-for-1 lunch deal from 11.30am-2.30pm on weekdays (except for Public Holidays), with the presentation of a student or senior card, is a great find! For 3 pax, we ordered the Fettuccine alla Carbonara, Ravioli Ricotta e Spinaci al Burro e Salvia, Ravioli Truffle, and the 3 Funghi Pizza (for sharing). The vegetarian ravioli is to die for, I especially love the flavourful stuffing. I also appreciate the quick and efficient service. My family is likely to visit the restaurant again when conditions permit.

La Pizzaiola is a secluded Italian restaurant nestled in a residential area. They have a wide variety of pastas, pizzas and other mains. Their cheese garlic foccacia is unlike other puffy breads, but rather a thin, almost pancake like dish full of gooey cheese and a delicious garlic flavour. The pizzas are well-sized, thin crust and have almost no oil on the underside. The carnivora meat pizza was full of succulent ham and tender chunks of meat, along with spicy and salty salami slices. The tangy sauce cut through the richness of the cheese and pizza. The diavola pizza was simple but well made, with spicy salami and rich cheese. Their homemade chilli flakes also packed a punch. The sausage and mushroom pasta, accompanied with a pink sauce, was fantastic. The pasta was cooked to a perfect al dente, and the pork sausage was juicy and full of flavour. The carbonara was very very creamy, and had no truffle oil flavours. The lasagna was also very well made, with layers of pasta and tender meat. However, the serving size for the carbonara and lasagna were a bit small. The desserts were all tasty and well-made. The tiramisu was the clear winner among the three we had, being creamy, sweet, slightly bitter and full of coffee flavour. They have a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, which were reasonably priced. Overall, this is a great place to come and eat authentic Italian food with good service.

Food is really good and authentic Italian here. Love the pasta very savoury and good texture overall and you be hard pressed not to clear every drop of sauce which is very generous. The pizza is good too and we went for the safe choice signature roasted beef. Crust is thin and beef is very tender. However it's quite difficult to serve will suggest better to cut evenly especially hard to cut through the beef. Tiramisu is also nice and the beer is also surprisingly smooth and easy to drink. Price is slightly on the higher side and it's rather crowded for dinners.
