Tamago-EN at NEX Mall is a Japanese egg-focused restaurant that builds its menu around egg-centric dishes like omurice, oyakodon, soufflé pancakes, and katsudon, with a warm and inviting ambiance that makes it an easy choice for a sit-down meal in the mall. The space feels cozy rather than clinical, and the overall atmosphere is quiet enough to have a proper conversation without competing with the noise of the surrounding food court. The food is the main draw and the egg preparation across the menu is where the kitchen consistently shows its strength. The omurice and oyakodon are the standout orders, with generous portions and egg work that is clearly a priority rather than an afterthought. The soufflé pancakes round out the menu well on the lighter side, though they do take considerably longer to prepare than the rest of the menu, so ordering them early or building in extra time is worth keeping in mind. Portions are generous across most of the menu and the food arrives quickly. Service is attentive and the staff handle special requests and accommodations well, which adds to the overall comfort of the experience. Ventilation in certain parts of the restaurant can run warm depending on where you are seated, so that is worth factoring in if you have the option to choose your table. One thing to note is that the set menu availability changes between lunch and other service periods, so checking what is available before ordering will save some confusion. Overall, Tamago-EN is a reliable and satisfying stop at NEX that holds up well for the price and is worth returning to.

Been a regular at Tamago-EN for quite awhile and they’ve honestly never disappointed 🤍 Food is always fresh, especially the eggs and rice bowls, the quality has stayed consistent. And ofc i always order the fruit tea! Portions do feel slightly smaller compared to before, but overall still a comforting and reliable spot that I keep coming back to with my friends:) 🍳🥪🥗

Had a really pleasant dining experience here. The food was nicely presented and tasted great 😋especially the burger with the perfectly cooked egg, super satisfying. Fries were crispy and well-seasoned, and the fresh salad balanced everything out. What made the visit even better was the staff. They were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very comfortable from the moment we walked in. Service was smooth and efficient without being rushed. Overall, a great spot for a casual meal. Will definitely come back again!

Went during dinner hours, no wait but significant noises due to the surrounding environment. Food was slightly disappointing as everything felt jelak after a few bites. Service was good and meals came after a short wait. Overall slightly overpriced yet decent.

We got the carbonara udon, maze udon, and chicken chop with egg and bread. My sister is picky about sauces on her food, but the staff were extremely accommodating and put it on the side for her :) Both of the udons were nice- the carbonara was a bit too salty, but not overly so once it was mellowed with egg. My mother found it a bit jelak after a while.
