"I absolutely loved Munchi Pancakes! It's one of my go to snack whenever I feel like reminiscing my childhood days. My favourite of all, would be the black sesame pancakes – so fluffy and flavorful. Today, i visited their Sengkang outlet, ordered an original sesame pancake, and immediately the staff asked me if I'm having it here, if so, she would make it hot for me. To me, that's going yhe extra mile. The service was excellent, with friendly staff making my visit even better. The Sengkang Square is spacious and clean, perfect for enjoying a sweet treat. 💯 Can't wait to go back! ✨"

"Tried the sushi set from Super Sushi and it was a pretty satisfying quick bite. The salmon was fresh and nicely torched with a creamy sauce on top, which added a good balance of flavour. The crab sushi was generous with filling and tasted quite decent as well. I also liked the small diced salmon topping on the roll, it gave a nice texture and freshness. The portion is small but fair for a light snack, and the soy sauce and wasabi complemented the sushi nicely. Overall a pleasant and convenient option if you’re craving sushi on the go. Could be even better if the rice was slightly firmer, but still enjoyable overall"

"Super satisfying. Portions were quite big and suitable for group dining. I especially liked how the flavors were strong but balanced, making every dish very appetizing. Service staff were attentive and helpful too. If you enjoy bold and spicy Chinese cuisine, this place is worth visiting 👍"

"Came for dinner in a rainy monday. Wasn’t very crowded so service was pretty fast. The seabass with lime sauce was delicious as well as the prawn cake and kai lan. The thai ice tea was also done just right."

"I attended the Sourdough Workshop at PastaMania Doughworkz and had such a wonderful experience! Teacher Rina and her team were amazing. They made the entire session fun, engaging, and easy to follow. Teacher Rina guided us step-by-step through the sourdough-making process, and we even learned how to make butter from scratch! It was a fantastic workshop for family bonding, with plenty of hands-on activities suitable for all ages. Towards the end, while waiting for our sourdough bread to bake, we were treated to beverages and delicious muffins, which was a really thoughtful touch. Overall, a super enjoyable and educational experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun activity to do with family or friends! 🍞✨"

"Used to be okay. But portion getting pathetic,no wonder inside restaurant all empty tables.like maybe 6/7 small pces lettuce.con chose salad i/o rice. Container less than half filled. Maybe pandapro 50% off so u get 50% portion? Haha. Not worth full price for such quality and portion for sure. Luckily paid $9+ only. Suggest Guys better get bigger portion or take rice."

"I had the prawn based broth ramen and it was delicious and not too spicy, with just a small kick. Everything inside the bowl of ramen was good and it has quickly become my favorite halal ramen spot in the north east. It was quiet on the weekday mid-afternoon I went visited but I can imagine it gets quite busy and full up during peak lunch or dinner hours. Definitely would recommend trying the ramen here."

"We had an awesome and hearty dining experience today. Upon arrival, there was no one at the counter. We waited for someone to bring us in but the staff who brought us to the seat was in a hurry and went off to carry out his job. Other staff were also busy carrying out their work. It was not crowded. It was our 1st visit and we do not feel welcome at all. Fortinately, we approached a young server, Mr Coffee who answered our enquiries and assisted us with the order. He was very patient and very helpful to us. The portion is generous. We took a 1 for 1 ribeye and was worth paying. Only thing the herbal chicken soup is dilated and the staff should make effort to pay more attention to customers (instead of focusing too much on their own work). Despite these, we will still return."

"This is one of the few Chinese food places where I find the pricing very reasonable, plus they offer unlimited free-flow rice! For big eaters and rice lovers, this is definitely a spot worth trying. The restaurant recently took over a space at Sengkang Grand Mall a few months ago. The dishes are generally priced between $2–$6 depending on what you order. Vegetable dishes are usually cheaper, while meat dishes cost slightly more. I visited the place with my mom and here are some of the dishes we tried: Tao Kee with Mala Sauce – 4/5 The Tao Kee paired with the mala sauce had a strong and flavourful kick. A nice choice if you enjoy spicy dishes. Sliced Potato – 3/5 Stir-fried sliced potato with dried chilli. Personally, I’m not a huge fan of potatoes, so this dish was just average for me. Still, the seasoning was quite flavourful. Tomato with Egg – 4/5 One of my favourite dishes here. The tomato and egg combination was comforting and delicious. Highly recommended for egg lovers. Mayou Chicken – 4/5 The sesame aroma was very fragrant and the diced chicken was tender. The sauce mixed really well with the rice — definitely levelled up the meal. Spinach – 3.5/5 A good vegetable option to balance out the meal. Simple but decent. Salted Egg Chicken – 4.5/5 One of my favourite dishes from the visit. The salted egg sauce was rich and addictive, while the chicken remained soft and juicy. Perfect with rice and very appetising. Mala Cucumber Side Dish – 4/5 Another one of my favourite side dishes. Refreshing with a spicy mala kick. Overall, I would rate the food 4/5. The restaurant ambience was pleasant and comfortable as well. Total damage for the meal was around $20, which I think is quite worth it. Great place for a quick lunch or dinner! Sign off: 22 April2026"

"Posting this here since the official online form have an unknown word limit: I visited YakinikuLike branch at CompassOne last evening for dinner. I have visited this branch occasionally, however the latest experience was bad. The main issue is that the built in bbq stove is hardly producing enough cooking heat anymore even at the highest setting. I have already noticed this from past visits since a couple of years ago, however this time the deteoriation of the stove was very noticeable. Meat hardly sizzles when placed onto the grill at the highest setting, and it takes ages to get even thin meat cuts cooked. Moreover prolonged cooking time just dries out the meat, in my opinion. To make matters worse, this branch stipulated a 50min dining time limit. I’ve looked around at other diners and it appears to be the same situation all around: nobody’s stove was hot enough, and there were even hardly any cooking smell in the air. My personal opinion is that this may also cause a food safety issue in the event a diner is impatient and undercooks the meat while trying to hurry. Nonetheless, it took us 1.5hours to finish our order of 2 sets plus one ala carte meat platter - by which time we weren’t really enjoying the meal anymore and was just trying to end our session and get out of there. From a business point of view, the table turnover rate must have been poor, no? For your information and action."

"Was here for a second breakfast so we didnt order much. We ordered the dry laksa, pie tee, the achar, chap chye. The dry laksa was creamy with 2 big prawns. The chap chye was average but the loved the pie tee. The achar was quite good too. They have tea time promo too! Will be back to try other dishes!"

"Date of visit: 2 April 2026 Tried Basil King at Sengkang for the first time. Ordered the double egg pork basil rice with spicy level. The flavour was good, but it was very spicy for me. Next time, I’ll definitely ask for less spice. Overall, an interesting first experience. As also mentioned basil king, was thinking to have a tom yam soup small to go with it that will be great."

"Dropped by Penang Culture at Compass One to try their brand new All-You-Can-Eat Buffet, and it’s an absolute steal for $31.90++ per adult! The variety is excellent. The sizzling claypot dishes are packed with wok hei and are incredibly comforting—perfect for a rainy day. You can also order unlimited rounds of Penang street food staples like char kway teow and satay. Everything came out piping hot. To top it off, there's a free-flow dessert bar featuring a chocolate fondue station and ice cream. Highly recommend bringing the family down for a satisfying feast."

"The place is clean and staffs are friendly. Do not need to wait long for the food. Food quality is good and serving portion is reasonable. We tried their new braised pork rice and the pork melted in our mouth. It has the authentic Taiwan food taste. The set meal is worth the price. Not all outlet has set menu.
