"Was recommended this restaurant when I was searching for an eatery near central west and is MRT accessible. No regrets as the food was good but what stood out was the warm and genial service which made the meal outstanding for my friends and I. Chose the fried chicken bao which I felt was filling but not outstanding although that's my personal opinion. Think the pork belly bao could be a better selection for me next time. The beef noodles were excellent although I felt the soup was about too salty and not something I would drink on its own. The side dishes were nice and I loved that they served sparkling water in 850ml bottles for a few dollars! Peanut ice-cream was nice and I would have it again definitely. All in, a nice meal made excellent by great service!"

"Overall - nice 👍 Wild truffle mushroom soup has real chunks of mushroom and good balance in taste. Steak and fish & chips were good too. Our girl loves her blueberry mint soda (forgot to take pix). Desserts are really nice! Will be back again."

"The staff is wonderful and extremely accommodating. I made friends with them and several guests hanging out here. Very cool place with an excellent diverse menu. Perfect venue for large group celebrations or business events. Edit: came back again for the skewer set. It was delicious and just the right amount of food for one person to feel full but not stuffed. Went great with some cold beer."

"Dropped by King’s Bar in Tiong Bahru for a casual evening and the vibe was great for a neighbourhood hangout. It’s a cosy spot with a mix of bar bites, cocktails, and local beers. The ambience is laid-back — think unpretentious, with a bit of old-school charm, and it’s a nice fit for the Tiong Bahru area. Drinks were decently priced, with a good range of craft beers and classic cocktails. Nothing mind-blowing, but solid and reliable. Entry-level red wine bottle was really decent as well and to the liking of our palettes. Service is generally good and staff are friendly once you get their attention. Great spot for catching up with friends or unwinding after work without the loud clubby energy. Parking in the area can be a bit tricky, though, so public transport or ride-hailing might be easier. All in, King’s Bar is a solid go-to if you’re in the neighbourhood and looking for a relaxed place to kick back with a drink. May be back to try their food if i am around the area."

"Ordered ribeye med rare, came as medium. They redid it but they served a sirloin instead of the ribeye I paid for. I didn’t complain cos I couldn’t wait for another batch. The steak came unsalted and wasn’t rested, could tell it was served quite quickly after taken off the grill. My wife’s pork meal was succulent and tender. The service was the highlight of the dinner. We had a bottle of wine with our meal and adjourned to the live music after dinner. Special shoutout to Roland/Ronald for his friendly and attentive service."

"Was there on a Sunday afternoon with my family (2 kids). We thoroughly enjoyed the food. There was a wide selection from their menu and we were spoilt for choice. We decided to order a few of the recommended items like the baked salmon and spinach pie, tater waffle, mac and cheese, brunch skillet, truffle fries, etc. Our kids really enjoyed the food and we can feel the effort put in to perfect the dishes. Service was also top notch, thanks to Ailin and staff. Indoor seating area is small so its more suitable for small group sizes. I noticed a good selection of beers but i didnt managed to try them. I enjoyed the iced mocha that i ordered. Highly recommended cafe if you are in the area."

"Had a wonderful evening at Revolution Bistro! The service was great – attentive and friendly throughout. The food is creative fusion at its best, and every dish impressed us. We tried the Sarawak white pepper crab stroopwafel with caviar ($20) was perfectly seasoned and fresh, the home-cured ocean trout ($19), and steak tartare with toasted sourdough ($36)was a real standout. Paired with two bottles of wine, it made for a fantastic meal. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for bold flavors and something different. Will definitely be back!"

"Located inside Gillman Barracks, Blackbird is a proper bar with great selection of wine, beer and cocktails. The food is definitely 100% top-notched, with the classic fries and nachos done so well, in generous servings that would feed 3 or even 4 easily, with even more generous servings of bacon bits, cheese and cheese sauces. The fish with baked potatoes are well done as well, with the fish being lightly seasoned and pan-fried to skin crispy perfection; eat it while its hot! The drinks are definitely spot on as well, with the bartenders able to customize your drinks to your liking easily eg. switch out the Hendricks for any other that you'll love, or even switch it up to a Mezcal. Drinks' prices are a tad on the high side, but the whole atmosphere with their kickass DJ + live bands like Supernova, its definitely worth a good night here! Cheers!"

"During our usual Friday cycling session, I decided to organise a stop at this rooftop cafe and bar as a mid-point for my cycling kakis before heading back to Punggol. We reserved a table for ten, arriving around 9:45 PM, and stayed until approximately 11:20 PM , slightly later than planned, as we were enjoying ourselves too much to leave immediately. The venue, situated on the 8th floor, allowed our ten bicycles to be parked safely outside. We chose to sit indoors for the air conditioned comfort after our ride. The interior had a cosy, relaxed vibe, with various entertainment options including a karaoke system, pool table, and darts machine, offering plenty of activities without feeling crowded. Upon arrival, we ordered Guinness Draft, which was part of a promotional offer, three pints for just $35. This was an excellent deal and added to the enjoyment of our evening. We also ordered truffle fries and luncheon meat fries, which were delicious. The staff were friendly, attentive, and prompt, making our experience very pleasant. However, one aspect I didn’t quite like was the song arrangement for the karaoke. After two songs for each table, the venue would then play random track without anyone singing or participating. Personally, I felt this was a waste of resources, especially as I had requested a song to be sung at around 10:50 PM. Despite my request and even after we left at 11:20 PM, I still did not get the opportunity to sing that song. Besides our table, there were only three other tables, so I expected fewer distractions for a more dedicated karaoke session. Overall, Rooftop Cafe & Bar is a charming hidden gem, perfect for unwinding after a cycling session, with great drinks, a friendly atmosphere, and a variety of entertainment. Despite the karaoke arrangement, we had a very enjoyable evening and look forward to returning."

"Handle Bar Food 🍽️ -🍗 Cocaine Wings – Packed with flavor. I’m usually not a fan of heavily sauced wings, but these were done really well . -🍤 Shrimp Pasta – One of the best dishes of the night. Generous portion size, perfectly cooked pasta, and seasoned just right from start to finish. -🐂 Oxtail Soup – The oxtail was cooked to perfection and incredibly tender. My only suggestion would be to skim off some of the excess fat, or perhaps make the bread a standard accompaniment rather than an optional add-on. It would help balance the richness and make the dish feel more like a comforting soup. Interior 🏍️ * If you’re into motorcycles, mechanics, or anything garage-related, you’ll have a great time exploring the space. * The place is filled with small details, decorations, and memorabilia that make it worth looking around beyond just the food and drinks. Overall 👍 -Great food, unique atmosphere, and plenty of character. - I also learned they host a variety of events throughout the year, which gives me another reason to come back. -Looking forward to returning and checking out more of what they have to offer."

"Overall it was a decent experience. The ambience was good - comfortable, lively and suitable for a casual meal or drinks with friends. The place has a nice setting, and it does give off the kind of relaxed German dining atmosphere you would expect. Service was also good. The staff were friendly and attentive enough, and the overall dining flow was smooth. No major complaints on the service side. Food-wise, it was okay only. Nothing was really bad, but nothing stood out strongly either. For a German restaurant, I was expecting the food to be more memorable, with stronger flavours or better execution. It was still edible and acceptable, just not something I would describe as fantastic. Overall, Brotzeit is a nice place for ambience and service, especially if you are there for casual dining or drinks. But if you are mainly going for the food, keep expectations moderate."

"Been here several times. The staff are quite friendly when you manage to get their attention. Guess the restaurant is quite big for the number of staff. There’s also outdoor seating area but it’s not good as the mall smoking area is beside it. There’s many promotions for the restaurant from meals to drinks for you to enjoy. Weekends evening not easy to get a table as many reservations. The baramundi Nasi lemak is quite tasty, the brioche burger also not bad, the bolognese pasta quite sour but not bad. Prices can be a bit steep if no promotion. You can scan at the table and order on the app then pay at the counter. The counter has a sweat smell I think the counter wood is too old. But the mall is going to be rebuilt, so probably the restaurant will be gone in time too."

"Daily change of menu is available which makes it all refreshing ! - price point rather high for a small time dining place - Bartender was superb as i requested for a HOT cocktail. Tasted sweet yet refreshing - Lamb neck grilled over charcoal extremely tender - grill pork & kidney was also grilled over charcoal , we all loved it! Price point for pork slightly pricey - the liver was grilled to perfection - sauces provided was slow cooked reduced . Intense lamb/pork scent when drizzled upon the meats Yes i will head back there again"

"This establishment is wonderful for both brunch and dinner. The ambiance evokes a sense of nature, and the food is quite satisfactory, albeit a bit expensive. However, the service is truly exceptional, which makes the cost entirely justifiable. They offer a comprehensive bar selection; we particularly enjoyed the Bellinis. There is a small for young childten to have fun I found myself feeling incredibly relaxed during my visit. I certainly plan to return one evening to experience their live band. Furthermore, it is a pet-friendly venue, so feel free to bring your beloved companions."
