Dropped by King’s Bar in Tiong Bahru for a casual evening and the vibe was great for a neighbourhood hangout. It’s a cosy spot with a mix of bar bites, cocktails, and local beers. The ambience is laid-back — think unpretentious, with a bit of old-school charm, and it’s a nice fit for the Tiong Bahru area. Drinks were decently priced, with a good range of craft beers and classic cocktails. Nothing mind-blowing, but solid and reliable. Entry-level red wine bottle was really decent as well and to the liking of our palettes. Service is generally good and staff are friendly once you get their attention. Great spot for catching up with friends or unwinding after work without the loud clubby energy. Parking in the area can be a bit tricky, though, so public transport or ride-hailing might be easier. All in, King’s Bar is a solid go-to if you’re in the neighbourhood and looking for a relaxed place to kick back with a drink. May be back to try their food if i am around the area.
This place has everything! Great vibes, great food and amazing selection of beer. My personal favorite is their Sisig, as it's one of my favorite Filipino dishes. On top of that, our visit was enhanced because of the incredible service of Jo. I would definitely go back to this establishment.
Had a great time at kings tiong bahru last night. Went for chilling with my gal friend and very accommodating. They reserved a nook by the bar and had some tables for a few appetizers. It was perfect! Huge thank you pretty boss Ray and rest of the staff! I highly recommend restaurant for your next get together.
Food: surprisingly good quality for the price. Pizzas and pasta were very good. Atmosphere;: a defacto Aussie watering hole on the weekend. Chill, casual, with Aussie Rules footy/ V8/F1 on the tele. Gets loud on the weekends
Great food, we had the sizzling pork & chicken with an egg that cooked on the sizzling plate mmmm! Excellent!! Really good value for money. Our 2 servers were so polite, friendly & very helpful! Joe was the guys name. Jo & Keef Watford, England
