"Xiang Xiang Hunan Cuisine is one of those places we’ve been back to a few times — and we still enjoy it every visit. The food is really good, with bold Hunan flavours that are very satisfying. We’ve tried quite a few dishes — their signature Hunan stir-fry pork, golden broth sour and spicy fish, stir-fry organic cauliflower, claypot tofu stew, dry tossed vermicelli pot, olive green bean delight, stir-fry spicy cabbage, and stir-fried tender chicken with old ginger. Our favourite is the dry tossed vermicelli — very flavourful and easy to keep eating. Service is also really good. The staff are attentive and make the whole experience feel very comfortable. They also have free snacks and ice cream, which is a nice touch. The lime flavour is especially refreshing. A place we’ll definitely keep coming back to for Hunan food."

"Had a really good experience at Little Pond — the service was warm and welcoming right from the start, which made the whole meal even more enjoyable. We ordered their signature sauerkraut fish and it paired really well with rice. It also came with a generous amount of ingredients, making it feel really worth it. The flavours were rich and comforting — definitely a dish we’d come back for. The crunchy fried potatoes were super addictive, one of those dishes you just can’t stop reaching for. Also, the $1 unlimited free flow of drinks and ice cream is such a great add-on and totally worth it. Their ice cream cone is so crunchy. Overall, a very satisfying meal with great service. Would definitely come back again!"

"It is indeed a flipping good restaurant! It is near to Bedok Market Place. The tables comfortably accommodated all 8 of us. We enjoyed the pancakes, truffle pasta, aglio olio, Margherita pizza, fries, and drinks. We had a hearty meal that came to about $210, which was very reasonably priced considering the variety and quality of the food. We visited on a weekday at around 1pm, and the restaurant was not crowded. The environment was clean, the service staff were attentive and friendly, and the menu offered a good variety of choices. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience, and we will definitely patronise again. I was told the crowd is in the evening."

"My first visit to Le Petit Paris last Saturday left me a good impression of my dining experience there. I had been living in the East all these years and yet I have not come across this gem of a food haunt. The food is authentic French and very good, and foie gras required special mention. The goose liver is tender and flavourful, oily to the taste and yet not oily. Love this dish a lot. The French onion soup, escargots and smoked pork belly were well executed. I will return to try other dishes."

"Recommend place to go for good traditional Chinese food. Place is not crowded on a weekday lunch. Parking is a challenge with no public parking lots nearby. Squid ink sausage is unique with nice flavour and texture. Fish Pao fan is tasty and fresh. Braised duck with tau Kwa still retains the traditional taste which is difficult to replicate these days. Sadly the stirred fried spinach is quite a disappointment- we can feel the granular salt in the mouth. Otherwise this cosy restaurant is a gem. There are outdoor tables as well. Service is attentive."

"We enjoyed a lovely early mother’s day dinner at Butter & Spice (Siglap) today. We had made a reservation so we did not have to wait long for our seats. The interior of the restaurant charmed us and the service was impeccable. Food came late but was understandable as it was full house due to the celebration. The kind manager came to apologize and generously compensated us for the wait. The food came hot and fresh, so so tasty and well presented. Will definitely be back soon."

"We had an excellent dining experience with a thoughtfully curated two-course meal that was both comforting and beautifully presented. Mushroom soup blended from fresh button mushrooms and garnished with dried parsley is a must try, rich and savoury. The curry chicken with rice was rich, creamy, and aromatic. The roasted whole chicken leg was tender and succulent, while the potato wedges and cherry tomatoes absorbed the flavours of the homemade curry perfectly. The addition of fresh milk gave the curry a smooth, balanced finish without being overly heavy. The Scotch egg was a standout dish. The well-seasoned minced chicken thigh was flavourful and juicy, encasing a perfectly soft-boiled pasteurised egg with a luscious golden centre. Paired with smashed potato and a vibrant beet marinara sauce, the dish offered a delightful combination of textures and flavours. To finish, the lemongrass panna cotta was light, refreshing, and elegantly executed. The fragrant notes of lemongrass and lime leaves complemented the tangy passionfruit and dragon fruit curd beautifully, while the butter biscuit topping added a pleasant crunch. Overall, the meal showcased excellent balance, quality ingredients, and careful attention to detail. Each course was well-executed, flavourful, and satisfying, making for a memorable dining experience that felt both comforting and refined."

"Tried Batter Catch at Bedok Mall for the first time and it was a lovely experience from start to finish. We were warmly welcomed and happily served by attentive, friendly staff, which made our visit even more enjoyable. There’s a wide variety of fish to choose from, which is great whether you’re a first-timer or a regular fish lover. We especially loved the crispy toasted bread served with balsamic vinegar and olive oil; simple, fragrant, and surprisingly addictive. We’re definitely looking forward to coming back to try their fish and chips, and also to take advantage of their weekday offers next time. Overall, a very pleasant dining experience. Highly recommended and worth a return visit!"

"Tuck In a quiet neighborhood, this family-friendly café serves up wholesome, great value delicious food. I came here alone during lunchtime specifically for the lamb chops – generous portions, perfectly cooked, and seasoned just right, a hearty meal! Came back for dinner, ordered beef stew and whole fried chicken (which I didn’t take a picture). The beef stew was absolutely delicious – tender meat, rich, hearty, and packed with flavours. Service was prompt and attentive, the host was incredibly warm and personable. Great food and great service, this place is a real find, and I’ll definitely be coming back!"

"Pretty good dim sum! This outlet is much better, especially with the large basement carpark making parking easy. Prices are reasonable for the quality, and the casual setting makes it a great spot for both small and large groups. Service was fast and efficient too. We enjoyed everything we ordered and will definitely come back when craving dim sum!"
