My first visit to Le Petit Paris last Saturday left me a good impression of my dining experience there. I had been living in the East all these years and yet I have not come across this gem of a food haunt. The food is authentic French and very good, and foie gras required special mention. The goose liver is tender and flavourful, oily to the taste and yet not oily. Love this dish a lot. The French onion soup, escargots and smoked pork belly were well executed. I will return to try other dishes.
Had such a lovely dinner at this cosy French neighbourhood restaurant! The chef was super friendly, funny, and so easy to chat with. He shared that he has been in Singapore for 22 years and even spoke some Singlish with us. This really made the whole experience so fun and memorable. This was actually my 2nd visit within a week, which already says a lot about how much we enjoyed the food. We tried both the mushroom soup and onion soup. We preferred the onion soup because it was thick, naturally sweet, and full of flavour. Their homemade kombucha was also excellent, very rich and refreshing. We also had the scallops, ratatouille with egg, Angus beef ribeye with fries, and the slow-cooked smoked pork belly. Everything was delicious! My personal favourite was the steak. It’s perfectly done and really satisfying. The pork belly was good too, though I’m personally not a big fan of bacon flavours, but anyone who loves bacon would probably enjoy it a lot. We ended the meal with their tiramisu, which was the perfect sweet finish to dinner. We even bought some croissants to takeaway for breakfast the next day because they only bake them on weekends definitely worth grabbing while they’re available. It’s a little on the pricey side, but definitely worth the money for the quality, atmosphere, and warm hospitality. Will definitely be back again!
Nice ambience to have a great dinner, staff was warm and introduced us to menu. Oysters were really fresh and the toppings went so nicely with it. The fries came with an amazing tartar sauce that gave a really nice contrast with the fries. Loved the duck confit also, SMOOTH mashed potato with delicious crispy topping, and the duck was seasoned so well. Really recomend the chocolate lava cake, its really good and the smoked vanilla was a fun experience. Overall, would come back again, especially for the oysters!
Very beautiful and cozy place to hang out. Alfresco or indoor, up to you! 18 seats outside.. 24 seats inside… only had tea, French onion soup and pastry so could not comment on the other savouries. Friendly staff and so sweet of one of them to come to our table to introduce us the lovely desserts. We ordered one lava cake after the recommendation. No GST here but service fee applies! Around this area a few other cafes too… nice 👌🏻 oh my! The lava cake is so so good! A must-have! The vanilla ice cream so delicious! Chef here believes in healthy eating and cooking! So good!
The lady boss at Le Petit Paris is so friendly! She makes the effort to go round every table and asked if we were alright, if the food was ok. The chef came out to make small talks with every table too! Their food is crazy delicious. I don't know what sort of potatoes they used, but every potatoe item is delicious!!! Their french fries is not any regular french fries, you can tell it's potatoes cut into the shape of fries.. their mashed potatoes from the pork belly dish is so good! Their potatoes in the duck confeit is so good as well! Oh ya, their french onion soup is so good as well!!! French onion soup with cheese, wow so delish!! We also ordered chocolate chip stracciatella gelato and its so good! Taste like our old school white rabbit candy! Overall nice place, nice lady boss and chef, exceptional service, exceptional food. Highly highly recommend!
