Recommend place to go for good traditional Chinese food. Place is not crowded on a weekday lunch. Parking is a challenge with no public parking lots nearby. Squid ink sausage is unique with nice flavour and texture. Fish Pao fan is tasty and fresh. Braised duck with tau Kwa still retains the traditional taste which is difficult to replicate these days. Sadly the stirred fried spinach is quite a disappointment- we can feel the granular salt in the mouth. Otherwise this cosy restaurant is a gem. There are outdoor tables as well. Service is attentive.

The staff checked on us after our dinner and kindly offered us a free dessert in exchange for a review, so thank you to the owner and staff for the sweet gesture.. Overall, the food was not bad! The char kway teow had a really nice wok hei and most importantly, it didn’t have that bitter burnt taste which we liked.. The other dishes were a little “meh” for us personally… but maybe it’s just our own preference.. Service was friendly and attentive throughout the dinner..

Was invited here for dinner. Overall food is good not great as I had year ago at their branch in Holland Village. To me their most interesting dish is the cold raw crab. Not many Teochew restaurants serve it. But their cold cooked crab is just so so. Their braised goose meat was ok and to me the lowest performing dish is the seafood fried rice. No wok hei. Pity for this restaurant.

Food was really good! There were no misses. The fried herb prawns are 10/10. We sat upstairs, and loved the cosy atmosphere, not echo-y at all. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Weiwei the waitress was a delight!

We had a birthday celebration dinner here for a senior family member. All dishes served were very tasty. Service was thoughtful and welcoming. Highly recommend trying their signature dishes – don't miss them! Will definitely come back!
