Little Pond 小鱼塘@Bedok Mall

Had a really good experience at Little Pond — the service was warm and welcoming right from the start, which made the whole meal even more enjoyable. We ordered their signature sauerkraut fish and it paired really well with rice. It also came with a generous amount of ingredients, making it feel really worth it. The flavours were rich and comforting — definitely a dish we’d come back for. The crunchy fried potatoes were super addictive, one of those dishes you just can’t stop reaching for. Also, the $1 unlimited free flow of drinks and ice cream is such a great add-on and totally worth it. Their ice cream cone is so crunchy. Overall, a very satisfying meal with great service. Would definitely come back again!

Walking in the restaurant is very awkward. The staffs are really busy and alerting the staffs takes time. The seats are business efficiency but it is also very squeezy. Gaps between the tables are incredibly narrow and people do get out of their seats rather often to get the best out of the 1 dollar free flow drinks and ice cream. Presentation of the large stewers is great and the pork is tender. Soup and fish is too ordinary for this price. The prawn paste does taste great with more prawn than usual. Overall, trying once will be enough.

At first the service was not bad, but later on I was told that there was no discount for other items if I took the lunch set promotion, but the ebill shows a discount when I join membership. And the best part is the payment system down and seems so chaotic. At last finally I am able to pay. Then I saw a Lucky Draw, so I ask am I entitled for the lucky draw since so many constraint because I took a promo set. But I was told yes I am entitled and ask me pick a lucky draw. So if I didn’t ask… I am not entitled. Haha. Ok. Come back to the food. The fried pork rib was nice and juicy but for the fish honestly Is very localised. No taste. Not to my liking, expecting to at least have similar taste with some other famous restaurants with fish. So overall not so impressive. As for environment, is nicely renovated. Ok.

The food is super fresh and the soup tastes great! I really love the rice because it’s soft, fragrant, and so nice to eat! You can tell they use good ingredients. Will definitely come back!

Newly opening on the 2nd day when passing by. Decided to join with the q to walk-in & dine-in. Who knows, till now still cannot figure it out on why did a couple already dine-in while the rest of us still need to be in q. Whereby there were plenty of seats & tables. Understood that the staff need to get prepare. However, with only 4 groups of us at outside, what was there need to be prepared with. Somemore, suddenly there was a large group from 2 pax to increase to 6 pax in front of my q. Nevertheless, so long still have available seats to start to walk-in. Once sat down, was about to ask for the drink & dessert. Who knows, the staff informed there was a short circuit. And will inform me once they resolved it. Never inform & no follow-up, saw a group of customer already started to serve by themselves. Ordered thru online for trying afew types of skewers. But then, after the customer on my right table left, & another new customer sat down. Their orders came in first than my ordered. Same went to my left table customer who got their ordered for skewers. And also for the above customer of my table got their orders too. How can it be that my ordered for skewers can take so long! Even with the staff did inform that the skewers need to take some time to cook. To another staff informed that the skewers bbq pit only 1 available & needed to take some time to cook. And my order was in q. Till the end, the staff updated tgat the kitchen had missed my order. No wonder, never go to their original outlet at One Holland. Totally unprofessional in their service. And perhaps they still prefer a big group for dine-in
