"Definitely one of the better mala tang in the area. The large and spacious dining area is a welcome relieve from the usual crowded set ups. Definitely much better than the old place down the road. The flow of selection, payment and collection is easily understood. Just pick up a plastic bowl, choose from the 2 fridges. Weight the content and select your options. Then make cashless payment and push your bowl into the kitchen thru the service window. Service is relatively fast. A lot of thoughts have gone into this set up. Recommended the fried fish and lotus roots. The peanuts, coriander & spring onions are self serviced."

"They have v affordable lunch set options for solo diners.. Prices go as low as $9.90 for a set. When we were there, we saw quite a few solo diners. This is the perfect place to be if u dont have a companion for hotpot and u have some time to kill. We had the tomyam soup base and the pork broth, both are delightfully flavourful.. I personally like that their soup base is not too oily.. U can have condiments, freeflow drinks and ice cream for $1. They v thoughtfully provide hair tie, apron and deodorant for clothes. They also gave small freebies like coin pouch 😀😀😀.. The only minus point of this place is they have quite a few pesky houseflies which keep settling down on our food.. Nonetheless, we still feel the overall dining experience to be totally worth our bucks.. Recommended"

"🍃The environment is clean and refreshing, with neat tables, chairs, and tableware. It's quiet, but there's no air conditioning, so those who are sensitive to heat can bring their own small fan. We went in the afternoon and it felt okay. 🚇Take the red line to Sembawang MRT station, then transfer to bus 882 and get off. It's about a 5-6 minute walk from there (towards Sembawang Park). It's more convenient for those driving, as there's a park right next door, and you can take a walk on the beach after your meal. There's a wide variety of food to choose from. Besides Mookada, there are Western, Thai, BBQ, desserts, and drinks. The atmosphere is also perfect for a relaxing drink. We ordered the $39.99 set meal for two, plus two drinks, which came to $25 per person. The price is reasonable, and the portions are generous. Recommend going in the evening so you can catch the sunset at Sembawang Park after your meal.☺️ ❗️ Pets allowed❗️"

"This is a cozy dinner/support spot that's bound to satisfy cravings! They have a reasonably extensive menu that includes rice bowls, udon, yakitori (charcoal grilled!), and side dishes. We were surprised that the food was incredibly tasty, leaving us satisfied and looking forward to the next visit. We an assortment of yakitori and particularly enjoyed the chicken skewers as they were tender and flavorful. The beef donburi with mentaiko sauce and onsen egg was perfect; medium rare steak and creamy sauce. The beef udon was comforting and as was the katsu curry don."

"I recently had the pleasure of dining at Delicious Food, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. The dishes were beautifully presented and full of flavor. Every bite tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared, showing the care and skill of the kitchen. I especially appreciated the balance of flavors and the quality of the ingredients. The service was also excellent—friendly, attentive, and efficient without being intrusive. It really added to the overall experience. I would definitely recommend Delicious Food to anyone looking for a satisfying and enjoyable dining experience. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!"

"Service here was excellent especially by Lee Cheng. Food was great especially the stir fried vegetables and Doufu. The famous white bee Hoon was quite ordinary. Some Zi Char stalls have better white Bee Hoon with wok taste. I must say that the ingredients used were all fresh and the dishes are healthy, neither too oily nor too salty. It kept the natural sweetness of the ingredients. Will I specially come back for the food? Maybe not. But will come if I happen to be on the vicinity."

"Best braised pork rice I’ve had in SG. The sauce is rich and very flavourful, the braised pork melts in your mouth, and it’s exactly like Taiwan’s. Fried century egg is freaking nice. Never seen it done like this before. (i think its new/seasonal item) Sesame noodles fell flat. Basically HDL sesame paste + noodles. Nothing special. Drinks are MUST ORDER too. The boba milk tea and honey green tea are better than most brands. Authentic and cheaper than other Taiwanese places in SG. Definitely order the braised pork rice!!! ps. service is literally coffeeshop standard - so dont expect greetings or anything 🤣"

"Ordered set A that comes with kailan, hotplate tofu and tilapia fish. Salted egg chicken and clear seafood tom yum soup. Cost $39+$16+$13 respectively plus gst. I would say the service was amazing and the speed which dish are serve is even more amazing. Within 10min every dishes are out. How!? However the taste was a bit mid. There are high such as kailan. You can taste the wok hey. Tom sum soup was more sour than spicy some would really like that. It was very appetiting. Hot plate tofu was also pretty unique due to their sauce. Fish wise there is a soil taste while salted egg chicked sause was too runny for me, is okay and there might be fan for that. Might just come here to eat their vege as they were really the nicer of the bunch."

"I didn’t expect to find a Thai bistro hidden along the northern coast! Kin Kao Mai is right by the sea, and dining with the ocean breeze, a sea view, and good food instantly puts you in a relaxed mood. The atmosphere is absolutely on point. They specialize in Thai cuisine, with classics like pineapple fried rice and tom yum soup. The flavors are perfectly balanced—sour and spicy in a very appetizing way, with rich layers of spices. The tom yum soup, served hot, was especially comforting to enjoy by the seaside. A really pleasant and memorable dining experience."

"Made reservations over the phone, table was ready but 1 high chair requested was not prepared. Good but not great. Between 2-3 stars but removed 1 for error drama, removed another 1 for pricey dishes. Won’t return. Severely understaffed, small portions. We ordered medium or large for 12pax but everything is tiny. Food was actually quite delicious but not say “AMAZINGMUSTRETURN”. Not aircon area but was not warm. Buyer beware, place was charming and you pay for it. The collagen soup was 96$ (are you mad) Egg fried rice was 22$ literally rice egg and corn. Pulut hitam with ice cream was passable. We ordered coconut cream but they gave ice cream. (Score!) Anyway surely their kitchen just have bad system or workers are tripping like mad. Drama: Ordered 2 yuzu; but 2 barley came. No event here. Ordered 2 yam paste; 3 came. We started eating but didn’t touch the 3rd one. Multiple scanned the qr to order; we didn’t know how many we ordered. One lady came to us saying they served 3 instead of 2; asked to pay for 3rd one. We said but we didn’t order it nor did we touch it. Then she said let me check the bill. (???) it said 2x. Multiple elders at our table wanted to flip the table. We laughed that why don’t she just serve us whatever she can’t sell, and ask us to pay. What a weird place. Severely understaffed. Made each staff wants to just serve the guests as efficiently as possible without thinking of customer service. No offence to the owners but too bad."
