Definitely one of the better mala tang in the area. The large and spacious dining area is a welcome relieve from the usual crowded set ups. Definitely much better than the old place down the road. The flow of selection, payment and collection is easily understood. Just pick up a plastic bowl, choose from the 2 fridges. Weight the content and select your options. Then make cashless payment and push your bowl into the kitchen thru the service window. Service is relatively fast. A lot of thoughts have gone into this set up. Recommended the fried fish and lotus roots. The peanuts, coriander & spring onions are self serviced.
Very fast model of carting and handling the seatings. Very efficient. But you must queue in time to avoid the long queue. The taste of mild spice is not spicy to me so you need to order medium spice. The creamy scrambled eggs is very nice twist to add into mala soup! I never have thought of it. Overall good 🙌🏼
The service here is great! The servers here are friendly and very helpful, we added extra ma just to try but found that it was too much for us, so we asked the service crew whether there was a way to lessen the ma. They then gave us collagen soup to help :)) we were then able to continue eating our food :3 thanks!
Been here to eat for about 3 times now, although it was not so convenient from where I stayed but I am glad to drop by this branch to eat their mala anytime. Medium spicy is pretty good for me, I believe I could try the spicier version next round. This time around, is also because of their great service especially the store manager lady which I believe the one in the red cap. Our ordered was wrong but she made a swift decision on correcting our order and gave us free drinks. Really appreciate. We have our orders corrected quickly is all we need so the drinks it was really a kind gesture. Thank you again gurl 😉
Food was decent. The tomato soup base was not served hot though. Only one type of dip available - very basic garnishings. Service was basic. Place was comfortable and generally clean.
