This is a good place to have meal in the area for good value for money and to escape crowd. They also have great deals for beers if u are in the mood!"

"I’ve been wanting to try TANYU for days. When I first came to Singapore, I was still getting familiar with the area and short on time, so we couldn’t find the chance to visit. Today we easily located the restaurant with Google Maps. It’s on the 2nd floor of Bugis Junction, very easy to find. The dining environment is bright and comfortable, free tea is provided, and the service is warm and attentive. ✨ What we ordered:Crispy Grilled Limbo Fish (upgraded)The fish skin was perfectly crispy, while the meat stayed tender and soaked in rich sauce. Total bill came to $52.80 (including the $3.90 crispy upgrade). We dined as a pair and had a wonderful experience. Highly recommend it for a casual, satisfying meal!"

"The wipe-clean plates said it all! We happened to chance upon this place after seeing the many positive reviews and decided to give it a try. We ordered the prawn roast and the mutton ribs seeraga samba briyani, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The briyani was flavourful, aromatic, and paired perfectly with the tender mutton. However, the prawn roast truly stole the show. The prawns were fresh, well-seasoned, right amount of heat! A wonderful meal from start to finish, and definitely a place we would return to. Highly recommended!"

"We recently celebrated our daughter's birthday at this restaurant with around 110 guests (including child and kids) and the experience exceeded our expectations. The function room was fantastic, with a beautiful theatre-style setup that created a wonderful atmosphere for the celebration. The ambiance was elegant, comfortable, and perfect for hosting a large gathering. The highlight, however, was the food. Every dish was delicious, and what impressed me most was the consistency in taste. Having visited several times before, I can confidently say that they maintain the same high standards every time. The quality, flavor, and presentation were excellent, all at a very reasonable price. Most importantly, the hospitality from the staff was truly next level. From planning the event to serving our guests, the team was attentive, professional, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile. Their dedication and warm service made the entire event smooth and memorable. A big thank you to the entire team for making our daughter's birthday celebration so special. Highly recommended for family functions, birthday parties, and large gatherings!"

"I ordered the Lamb Chops, Adana Lamb Kebab, and Baklava, and everything exceeded my expectations. The flavors were spot on, the rice was good, the spices blended perfectly with the meat, and the salad was incredibly fresh. The service was excellent, the staffs were warm, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. I also enjoyed the apple tea, very relaxing to drink at night. The Turkish coffee was nice as well, served in a small cup. Considering the location, the prices are reasonable."

"Great atmosphere with even better service from bartender Sanny. Highly recommend the signature mix that Sanny specialises in (not sure if it changes seasonally). The ramen were cooked well but there’s room to improve in terms of the flavour, especially for the beef ramen. Came here for birthday dinner and they gave us a whiskey mix, on the house. Had a great time at this bar."

"I have suddenly craving fried rice and it is really enjoyable and very flavorful! Fugu is soft and sweet another of our favorites tonight. Bee/ mushroom roll is crunchy inside and soft outside, a must if you have kids."

"Had a really enjoyable dinner at Mama Diam with family. The food overall was very good, with a creative, modern take on local flavours. The Singapore corner shop theme is spot on, with a fun, nostalgic vibe that’s both stylish and playful without feeling overdone. It really adds to the whole dining experience. Standout dishes for us were the Singapore chilli soft shell crab bao, chicken curry kueh pie tee, and the crispy tiger prawn balls, all packed with flavour and nicely balanced. The tempura cauliflower was also excellent. The only dish that didn’t quite hit the mark for us was the bak chor “mee pok”. Cocktails were a highlight too, especially the green mango highball, mango sago, and the Peranakan negroni, all refreshing and well put together. Service was warm and attentive throughout, and we were very well looked after by Maria, Gayle and Precious, who made the experience even more enjoyable. Would happily come back to explore more of the menu."

"Great steak in a homely environment. Thanks to KP and the team for the wonderful recommendations! Menu is nicely curated and the steaks are solid and good value, and the selection of sides is unique. The chicken was my surprise highlight that went nicely with the crispy broccoli. The raclette potatoes were also a standout"

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Local Chinese Food Experience at 3 Meals a Day, Sim Lim Square If you are looking for delicious and affordable local Chinese cuisine in Singapore, 3 Meals a Day at Sim Lim Square (1st Floor, #02-01) is definitely worth visiting. The restaurant is well-known for its signature Salted Egg dishes, and after trying several of their specialties, I can understand why it has become so popular among both locals and tourists. The restaurant offers a wide variety of menu options, ranging from classic Chinese dishes to a convenient self-service buffet section where customers can choose their preferred dishes. Everything is displayed neatly, making it easy to decide what to order. My personal favorites were the Salted Egg Pork Ribs, Cheezy Butter Chicken, and Cereal Chicken. The Salted Egg Pork Ribs were perfectly cooked, coated with a rich and creamy salted egg sauce that was packed with flavor. The Cheezy Butter Chicken was incredibly addictive with its savory and slightly sweet taste, while the Cereal Chicken provided a wonderful crispy texture and aromatic flavor. Another highlight is the chili sauce and sambal acar, which can be taken freely in individual cups. The chili sauce in particular was absolutely delicious and paired perfectly with almost every dish on the menu. The restaurant is conveniently located just a short walk from Rochor MRT Station, making it very accessible. Cleanliness is well-maintained despite the high customer traffic, and the dining area is comfortable and spacious enough for both individuals and groups. The cashier staff were efficient and professional, ensuring that billing was accurate and quick. Additional charges are clearly explained, such as SGD 0.80 for an extra egg and SGD 0.30 for takeaway packaging, which reflects good transparency in pricing. One feature I particularly liked was their takeaway system. After placing an order, customers receive a paging alarm device that notifies them once the food is ready for collection. This makes the ordering process organized and convenient. Considering the excellent food quality, generous portions, wide menu selection, convenient location, and affordable pricing, 3 Meals a Day offers outstanding value for money. It is impressive that a restaurant of this quality, recognized by food enthusiasts and frequently recommended by visitors to Singapore, continues to maintain such reasonable prices. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Sim Lim Square, Rochor, or Bugis area. I will definitely return on my next trip to Singapore. "I tried this restaurant because of the high ratings. However, I found the food here mediocre. The chicken wings lack quality; the meat is tasteless and lacks freshness, relying heavily on skin seasoning for flavor. The donburi portions are quite small. While the pork slices are acceptable, the seasoned rice did not suit my palate. Additionally, the omu egg was disappointing as it lacked fluffiness and had an overpowering milky taste. The only positive aspects of the experience were the welcoming, attentive reception guy and the comfortable seating. Given the quality and portion sizes, I found the menu overpriced. There are many high ratings for this establishment, so this may simply be a matter of personal preference."

"Was craving spicy Indian food for the longest time, and I am glad I dined in Gayatri. The Indian lady serving us was attentive and fantastic, she shifted us to another table when she sensed we weren’t comfortable with the initial seating. The mysore mutton was soft, flavourful, and packed with spices. It went together with the biryani rice. Their chicken chettinad was rich and creamy, and made me reach for more. Highly recommend dining here. Had such a pleasant experience with my husband and I will definitely return!"

"I was searching for Arabian food on Google and found this restaurant. The food was really outstanding. We ordered chicken mandi, lamb khebsa, and grilled fish — everything tasted amazing. You can tell the chef really puts effort into the food. The best part for me was the knafa. I’ve tried knafa more than 100 times in different countries, but this one was something else — seriously mouth-watering. The service was also great. The girl working there, her name was probably Nirali or Nikita, was very friendly and helpful. She explained the food nicely, talked about places to visit in Singapore, and made sure we were comfortable and happy with everything. Their fresh juices are also worth trying — 100% natural, no syrup, no extra ice, just real fruits. Overall, a very good experience. Highly recommended. Food 10 out of 10 Service 10 out of 10 ."
