Was craving spicy Indian food for the longest time, and I am glad I dined in Gayatri. The Indian lady serving us was attentive and fantastic, she shifted us to another table when she sensed we weren’t comfortable with the initial seating. The mysore mutton was soft, flavourful, and packed with spices. It went together with the biryani rice. Their chicken chettinad was rich and creamy, and made me reach for more. Highly recommend dining here. Had such a pleasant experience with my husband and I will definitely return!

The food was consistently good every time I visited. I’ve been dining here with friends before, and now I’ve brought my kids too. I’m glad they loved it as much as I do. The Mysore mutton & fish cutlet were excellent. Those who enjoy Indian food should definitely give this place a try.

I ate the best appam here. The sweet fragrant coconut was the difference between them and others. Really enjoyed the food here. Service was great too.

Gayatri restaurant is a Cosy spot in Little India for hearty North and South Indian food, with standouts like biryani, fish head curry and tandoori items that are full of flavour and spice. The air‑conditioned dining room feels homely yet modern, with banana‑leaf style plating and an open kitchen adding to the lively ambience. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable for central Singapore (around S$18 per person), making it good value for families and groups. We tried chicken tandoori, fish head curry. Both were good options for a group. Service was attentive and fast. Prices are at par location and nearby options. Its a must visit if you are fan of Indian cuisine in Singapore.

Ordered the Vegetarian set meal (white rice) and Briyani set meal, where each set comes with 3 different sides and a cup of soup/gravy (not shown in the pic). The butter chicken was yummy and creamy, garlic prawn was spicier than expected. Will definitely go back again to try their other dishes
