"Had a great experience at Chao Ba Ba Chicken Pot! The chicken pot was flavorful, rich, and very satisfying. The ingredients were fresh, and we especially enjoyed the balance of spices and the tender chicken. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was comfortable for gathering with friends and family. Service was efficient even during busy hours. Overall, a delicious meal and great dining experience. Will definitely be back to try more dishes. Highly recommended!"

"First time trying A Hot Hideout at Kinex, and I can see why there’s always a long queue whenever I walk past. Finally gave it a try and it didn’t disappoint. Ordering was quite straightforward with clear step-by-step instructions, so it was easy even for first-timers. We ordered the dry mala and tomato broth. The mala was nicely flavoured and not too overpowering, which I liked. The tomato soup was rich and flavourful, not the bland kind. Adding toppings like scrambled egg really made a difference and enhanced both dishes. The green Thai milk tea was also not very sweet, which was a plus and paired well with the meal. The highlight for me was the fried lotus root—super crispy and went really well with the dry mala and scrambled egg combo. Overall, a very satisfying meal and a good experience. Will definitely come back again."

"Update 12/5/26 - Brought a friend here and she loved the No8 signature Chirashi too. There is now an ongoing promotion for this item at $60 for two sets (see photo of poster) which we missed ‘cos we didn’t see poster until we were about to leave and staff didn’t tell us. 📍If you plan to come, remember to ask about PROMOTION! Lunched here 3x in April 2026 after watching movies on weekdays. And each time I ordered the same but superb signature #8 Chirashi Don that comes with miso soup. ❤️ beautifully presented fish on rice bowl. The different colours of fish, octopus, pickles, eggs, cucumber and ginger add up to a visual feast which I absolutely adore. Showed that the rice bowl was thoughtfully and carefully prepared with passion and sincerity ❤️ chunks of fish are fresh, and I enjoyed the different textures. There were variety in taste and mouthfeel ❤️ the rice mixed with Japanese seasoning & sesame seeds was outstanding and I always finished every grain 👍 I normally go light on carbs especially plain white rice! ❤️ a very good balance of protein, fibre and carbs making it a great hearty meal for health conscious folks like me. Best of all, the rice bowl is very filling. I was comfortable until dinner. ❤️ Service staff were young, attentive with positive attitude. Food served within minutes. Tables, cutlery & floor were clean. Ample space between tables. Eatery owner was present during my three visits - friendly, not pushy, observant & helpful. He told me to place my beloved handbag on an unused chair👍 😬 I declined the eatery’s famous soya sauce ‘cos I prefer the seafood’s natural flavours. I’m also watching my sodium intake 😬 the miso soup was always a tad too rich for me and I just asked for hot water to be added, which the service staff would obliged without fuss 😬 nett price for lunch was about $31 but it’s money well spent for great quality food! ❤️ Donburi King has a grilled fish eatery next door. So if this place is fully occupied, I can still order my fave Chirashi and grab a seat there. Conclusion: I will return again and again and again 💯👍❤️⭐️🙏🤗 By the way, this place gives customers a free cheesecake for a Google review. I DID NOT bother about this freebie because I DON’T DO reviews for freebies or discounts. It’s a matter of principle."

"Staff are friendly with good atmosphere, food wise is not bad but can be better and more authentic. The ice shave is too rough, it would be great if it’s smoother. Maybe pair with some chilli sauce for the omelette like in Thailand. Overall is worth the experience."

"Putien at SingPost Centre with exceptionally attentive staff, especially Xiao Ying and Yang Xin, who provided excellent service throughout our visit. One of the first things they did was check whether anyone had food allergies, which showed great care and attention to detail. The food was served promptly and was both delicious and well-balanced, being neither oily nor overly salty. A pleasant surprise came when the birthday girl received a complimentary bowl of longevity noodles and a lovely, huggable soft toy as a gift. Xiao Ying also kindly helped us take beautiful photos and videos, allowing us to capture many wonderful memories. We had a delightful dining experience and will certainly visit Putien again."

"Celebrated my friend’s birthday here and it’s our first visit! We ordered the Tsukemen (dipping noodles), Pork Jowl set with rice and 2 squid skewers. Very satisfied with the tsukemen, great flavor and fresh ingredients!! I would definitely come back again to order this same noodle. My friend loved the pork jowl rice set as well :) Skewers are standard, nothing too wow. Space is good for 2 pax. Generally good experience and will revisit 😍"

"Decided to give this place a try after passing by for many months. Surprisingly not bad. The food is pretty good overall. The highlight was the tom yam spaghetti although the flavour wasn’t that strong. The mentaiko Mac and cheese was good too but recommended to share because it can be quite jelak. Check out the photos for the food we ordered. Drink wise a bit on the pricey side. Place is not very big thus a group of 2-4 is very comfortable. Any bigger perhaps to make reservation. Parking is not easy but there is 4-5 lot just 4 mins walk upfront in front of the condos."

"Had a really great experience at DeliBowl Paya Lebar. Special shoutout to Maggie, who went above and beyond to help my friend with a sensitive stomach. My friend can’t consume black pepper, chilli, or tomato, and Maggie was extremely patient, attentive, and careful in explaining the ingredients and making suitable recommendations. Her service was warm, thoughtful, and genuinely caring — it made us feel very comfortable and well taken care of. The food was fresh, tasty, and felt safe for someone with dietary restrictions, which we truly appreciated. Big thanks to Maggie and the team for such excellent service. Highly recommend this place, especially if you have special dietary needs 💯👏"

"Had a wonderful dining experience here! The food was beautifully presented and tasted just as good as it looked. Every dish was fresh, flavourful, and thoughtfully prepared. The Japanese-inspired menu offers a great variety, from mains to desserts and drinks, making it a perfect spot for both casual meals and gatherings. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with a nice balance between café vibes during the day and izakaya ambience in the evening. Service was friendly and attentive as well. Definitely a place I'll return to when I'm around Paya Lebar. Highly recommended!"
