Went for the 5 course omakase during dinner. Might want to opt for the 6 course if you are hungry/a big eater. Sashimi and udon were great, and the free flow sake/wine was very worth. Tried all alcohol options and hot sake was the personal favourite. Service was very good despite only have 1-2 service staff. Food and drinks were served quickly.

Chicken fillet in “Chicken Fillet Don” was hard, dry and tasteless. Best to give this dish a miss. The other tempura choices are considered alright. Service staff seemed grumpy and provided less than acceptable service levels.

As a restaurant that has “tempura” in its shop name, I expected the kitchen to prepare this well. The fried item didn’t impress. I ordered an anago tempura kaisendon lunch ($23.80); the batter was harder than I’d prefer, not the light & airy style. Rice was not mushy but could be improved. Pickles were in a sad limp state. Saving grace was the flavourful miso soup

Could be better Ordered seafood tendon and anagi and ebi tendon. Paid $3 to change rice to hot soba but noodles were overcooked Rice in seafood tendon was lukewarm, not piping hot. I hate it when I pay to eat out and my food is not piping hot. Tempura batter was hard, not the light and airy type. At least it wasn't too thick 🤷🏼‍♀️ Most concerning of all was the male staff who was coughing quite badly. Management should have required him to wear a mask. He was initially at the cashier but ended up being the ones to bring our food over to us. Visites on 28 Feb at 2pm+ The one positive was that everything was fried to order so the tempura was indeed piping hot. Staff also had no issues with my request for tendon sauce on the side.
