First Bowl Rice Kitchen Paya Lebar Square

Had a really great experience at DeliBowl Paya Lebar. Special shoutout to Maggie, who went above and beyond to help my friend with a sensitive stomach. My friend can’t consume black pepper, chilli, or tomato, and Maggie was extremely patient, attentive, and careful in explaining the ingredients and making suitable recommendations. Her service was warm, thoughtful, and genuinely caring — it made us feel very comfortable and well taken care of. The food was fresh, tasty, and felt safe for someone with dietary restrictions, which we truly appreciated. Big thanks to Maggie and the team for such excellent service. Highly recommend this place, especially if you have special dietary needs 💯👏

I had a really pleasant dining experience at Delibowl. The service crew, Maggie, was amazing , she was very patient and took the time to explain the menu carefully, especially which dishes were suitable for someone with a sensitive stomach like mine. I truly appreciated her kindness and knowledge. Every dish I ordered was so delicious, honestly exceeded my expectations. On top of that, the food is very affordable, the portions are generous, and I left feeling completely full and satisfied. Great food, great service, and a very comfortable dining experience overall. Definitely coming back again!! 😊

Came here on weekday night, around dinner time. Wait was not long at all, got seated right away. Food is pretty great! Glad to say we enjoyed all the dishes, and I thought the eggplant was pretty unique. The only downside was the collection which can be a bit annoying since the numbering system didn’t work. You got to pay attention to the speaker which can sometimes be hard to hear. But yes, it’s pretty alright!

What a pleasant surprise to discover the great-tasting Hunan-style dishes at this Delibowl outlet in Paya Lebar Square. For such an unassuming, small self-service restaurant, the food turned out to be impressively authentic and delicious. The cabbage stir-fry, Hunan beef claypot, and mapo tofu were all well-executed and far exceeded our expectations. On top of that, the generous free rice refill policy makes the meal even more satisfying. Definitely a spot worth supporting again.

First visit to this Delibowl, & 3 of us very exited and would like to try more dishes, total $75.90 with varieties dishes. Food was good, overall above average. Great rice & the rice also can top up if needed. As the desks are small, so after we took up the dishes, we have returned all the trays. However, we are about to leave (already at the doorstep ), an uncle (staff) asked to clear the table, and told us that “we don’t charge service charges, you have to clear your table”. We are ok to clear the table, but the uncle words make us embarrassed at the front door. We are 1st visit to delibowl, and we are not aware of this rules of dining. If the shop did put a message/notice to return the trays after the meals, these would be avoided. Luckily got a lady staff very nice and gentle, and helpful when we hand over the trays. Appreciate the lady staff assistance. Bad experience when we about to walk out the shop, I will not come back to this branch.
