PUTIEN SingPost Centre

Putien at SingPost Centre with exceptionally attentive staff, especially Xiao Ying and Yang Xin, who provided excellent service throughout our visit. One of the first things they did was check whether anyone had food allergies, which showed great care and attention to detail. The food was served promptly and was both delicious and well-balanced, being neither oily nor overly salty. A pleasant surprise came when the birthday girl received a complimentary bowl of longevity noodles and a lovely, huggable soft toy as a gift. Xiao Ying also kindly helped us take beautiful photos and videos, allowing us to capture many wonderful memories. We had a delightful dining experience and will certainly visit Putien again.

Food was good but service was chaotic. The restaurant was buzzing and at times we were inundated and overwhelmed by the noise around us. I was eyeing Putien's signature menu but I was asked to opt for the Chinese New Year Set Menu as it is the festive season. I opted for two Fortune Set Menus and a Vegetarian Menu for one of my guests. One of my favourite dish is the Pén Cài, a traditional Hakka festival meal composed of many layers of expensive ingredients like abalone, sea cucumber, fish maw, prawns, etc. Here in Putien, it is known as "Pot of Goodies" - a super delicious dish with superior ingredients. The other dishes that resonated with us - Prosperity Yusheng (Abalone), Yellow Croaker in Sweet Sour Sauce, Stir-fried Scallops with Broccoli in XO Sauce, Deep Fried Chicken with Garlic, Stir-fried Yam and Longevity Noodles. The remaining two dishes - Cordyceps Flower with Crab Meat Soup and the Glutinous Rice Balls in Red Bean Soup - didn't leave much impression with us. The Vegetarian Set Menu was decent tastewise except that the complete protein element like tofu was missing. The menu only had mushrooms, broccoli and yam. This oversight is unacceptable for vegetarians. I hope that Putien will review their vegetarian menu and make it right. All in, we had a great time but I am hesitant to come back during the festive season because of the chaotic service.

Food is served quite fast and is hot and comforting. Really tasty and the soup is really nice. The rest of the dishes are also good. And they even offer kids meal to my girl. Had a really good time as the staff is helpful and fast. Will recommend to go again. Looking to celebrate CNY with Putien next year!

Quality of food is pretty consistent. I like the fried luffa vegetable in casserole as it was bland and can taste the sweetness of the luffa. Didn't quite like the golden pork pillow as the pork stripe didn't contribute any gastronomical taste towards the dish. The fried lala gravy was a little thick. The seasonal fried oyster with spring onions was tasty and crispy. The traditional fried putien bee hoon was an all time favourite.

I'm a regular at the Parkway outlet, before they closed and after they recently reopened. The service at the Parkway outlet, the food quality, and the overall standard is much better at the Parkway outlet. The waitresses here looked annoyed all the time, the manager was openly stopping people from bringing their free water in. Poor service, even from the manager. The server that attended to us was Yang Xin, and I find it incredulous and fake that there were a chain of good reviews for her attitude just 18 hours ago. Her face is really nasty lol and she showed clear displeasure when we enquired about certain requests that were granted without issues in the other outlets. Will NOT be returning to the Singpost outlet any further.
