The staff were friendly, patient, and always ready to recommend dishes or adjust flavors to suit my preferences. The food was absolutely delicious. Each dish was rich in authentic Hunan flavors—spicy, aromatic, and perfectly balanced. The ingredients were fresh, and the presentation was simple yet appealing. I especially loved the signature spicy dishes, which were full of depth and not just heat. The environment of the restaurant was elegant and comfortable. The décor was tasteful, combining traditional Chinese elements with a modern touch, creating a relaxed and enjoyable dining atmosphere. It was a great place not only for meals but also for gathering with friends or family. What impressed me most was the price. Despite the high quality of food and service, the prices were very reasonable and fair. Overall, it was an excellent dining experience, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves Hunan cuisine."

"Came in with my wife and toddler on a Sunday night, first time using the app to pay and order wasn’t very sure how to navigate to add in the kids dine free promo and a welcome voucher. Was directed to Jordan, and despite him being busy with other tasks he was super enthusiastic proactive and friendly with assisting me, I was very impressed by the level of service provided by him. I appreciate this level of care and attention especially at a fast food joint, will surely come back here to this outlet just for the friendly staff led by Jordan. The app and QR code system to order to your table is also very convenient once you learn to do it once."

"23 Oct 2025, 4.20pm. 3 stars. Well, I can't understand the hype or the 5 star reviews given for this brand. Their min jiang kueh is definitely not the best I've had. I ordered the original red bean $1.60 and there was no queue, no wait. Female staff was quite efficient & responsive to questions. The hardened edges were like eating fortune cookies, which I quite like, but the baked surfaces of the pastry was a bit too hard & chewy. Inner texture was a little bit softer. Overall can be lighter / crispier. Red bean paste was fragrant, a good amount, but could be less sweet. It got a bit jelak as I was finishing the pancake. Noticed that the portion size was a bit smaller for the green tea skins compared to the original & charcoal skins. CDC vouchers accepted for payment. Will only buy if in the vicinity & have a craving."

"my family and I enjoyed the thai food here, v authentic! the steamed fish with chilli and lime was our favorite, it was rly tender and appetising. we also enjoyed the crab omelette and grilled squid. everything we ordered were of generous portions, packed with flavor and staff are friendly too. will recommend if you’re looking for an authentic thai restaurant!!"

"Booked a table in advance. Food is mostly good with the white bee hoon, prawn paste and tofu, however i did not like the chicken. Service could be better, had to ask multiple times for missing orders and simply refilling water. Overall, it's alright but probably won't go on a weekend."

"I think the ratings are justified. This place serves really delicious food. Each dish that came was amazing. The price isn't expensive too. The mee sua was packed with flavour and probably one of the better ones ive tried. The abacus seeds are a must order, it is fragrant and savoury, full of ingredients. The simple cabbage dish was stir fried so well you can taste the wok hei. The fried chicken was the usual Taiwanese style fried chicken, crispy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. Honestly everydish that came was so good. "Wow, this is so good" was constantly running through my mind throught the meal. Excellent. Extremely well done. You have to try."

"Had a great dining experience at Earle Swensen’s! The food was really good, serving sizes were satisfying, and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The atmosphere was also nice and family-friendly. Plus, they currently have a promo for a free salad buffet, which made the meal even more worth it. Definitely a good place to enjoy with family and my kids love the kids meal."

"Garlic salt chicken- very misleading menu photo. The chicken came out looking so pale. It was alright, would have been nicer if it was more well coated because other than the garlic on top, the chicken wing itself was quite bland and not very crunchy like the picture makes you think Crab vermicelli soup- a good portion, interesting flavour of soup. It was not bad but not great Pork bahn mi- crispy bread and pretty nice overall. Missing some pate or sauce as it got a little dry Thai style steamed squid- tender squid and nice sauce but could have been a little more sour Dry vermicelli with chicken- noodles and sauce were great, chicken was not flavourful but at least it was well cooked and tender Coffee pork belly with garlic fried rice- pork belly was great, i think the tastiest item on the table. The fried rice was a little hard and dry but had good flavour Overall an okay meal with some hits and misses. Ordered the white coffee latte and it tasted a little synthetic.. like some kind of syrup was added. A little confused about why this place has 4.9 stars. All this food plus 1 coffee and 2 teas for 5pax cost $100++ Don't think i will be back, but i guess it's pretty okay."

"the food is nice， but the drink is self service, and the fridge door is auto close, when I pick drink my finger was clamped and it’s quite painful, the staff just watch and no response at all, I talked to them that the fridge is not safe, he show me the door is auto and I should be careful?? Looks like it’s my own fault for getting injured in the restaurant! Very disappointed"

"With so few peranakan food places left in our city, I drop by to try this outlet . The few set menu offered was a good sampler of the dishes the stall was selling. I had the curry chicken set which came with two side dishes - hard boil chillie egg and mix veg chap chye , served with the blue rice. The portion was filling for one. The curry was lemak, rich in spice flavour. The chap chye had a good mix of vegetable. A point to note is that the dishes could be served hot so as to give that rich aroma kick, as much was spent in preparing each dish. Can look into providing a simple lemon grass soup or cold dried longan/pandan drink to make the set meals more attractive. Think customers would not mind paying a bit more for the extra perk if they enjoy the food."

"First time visiting Kazo Cafe and it was such a great experience. The cafe is aesthetically pleasing, cozy, and comfortable. I really liked the concept of mixing Western and Taiwanese flavours, which made the menu quite interesting. We ordered quite a spread, starting with the crispy cream puff, and it really lived up to its name — 咔滋咔滋. The shell was super crispy, and the Hokkaido cream inside was soft, light, and very pleasant without being too sweet. For mains, we had the classic aglio olio with prawns, which was cooked just right — not too hard and not too soft. The cheesy mushroom sourdough sandwich was comforting and filling, while the curry baked rice was rich and satisfying. The mushroom soup was warm and flavourful, perfect as a side with the garlic sourdough bread. The oyster mee sua comes with a generous amount of oyster and ended up being our favourite, especially with a splash of black vinegar. However, it was slightly on the saltier side. We also tried the classic Taiwanese egg crepe — it was a little over-crispy and slightly tough, but still tasty, especially when dipped into the sauce. To finish, we had the Business as Yuzual drink, which was very refreshing and a great way to end the meal. Overall, everything was enjoyable, from the food to the ambience. Definitely a place I’d come back to again to try more of their dishes."

"We love the roast duck and fish maw soup. The rest of the food were just average in taste. Overall the food was acceptable but somewhat pricey. The restaurant was quite empty for a weekday evening. No need to make any reservations, just walk in will do. The food was served pretty fast 👍, even though they seems to be quite short handed (hard to get their attention to answer some questions that we had)."

What we ordered to share: - Cheese Foam Green Tea (Jasmine Green Tea, Regular) – S$6.50 (with 25% discount and less ice): The cheese foam was creamy without being too heavy and paired well with the fragrant jasmine tea. - Eat 3 Bowls Signature Trio Combo – S$14.90: A good mix of flavors that left us satisfied without feeling overly full. The total came to S$25.66 including service charge and 9% GST – decent value for a shared meal.
