Yang Guo Fu Mala Tang @ Pasir Ris Mall

the food is nice， but the drink is self service, and the fridge door is auto close, when I pick drink my finger was clamped and it’s quite painful, the staff just watch and no response at all, I talked to them that the fridge is not safe, he show me the door is auto and I should be careful?? Looks like it’s my own fault for getting injured in the restaurant! Very disappointed

Good is always super good, soup comes really hot which I enjoy. Staff are also very efficient and friendly but the space is a bit small. So sometimes it’s hard to get seats during peak periods

Had a try today for lunch as heavy rain outside. Tbh it's my first time entering this sort of Mala shop to order food so a bit lost. The guy at counter is friendly enough to show me what to do first another 2 staff - 1 guy and 1 lady just standing there stupor without guiding. I was not wearing spec so can't see clearly where is the bowl. After getting the items I was told they didn't sell rice, by the lady who initially standing there. Follow the weight to let you know how much but there is no price tag for reference? Only thing which is good is that all item didn't differ in price just follow weight. For those who can't take beef need to take note the Mala soup is made of beef broth. I was a bit hesitant as I can't eat. At the end no choice I still choose as I check with the lady she said the Mala dry I need to mix myself-like what others commenting in reviews (which is weird as normally the shop will mix for you) I ordered mid spicy which I can tolerate. No bad the taste and I added my favourite coriander 😋 I'm not sure is it consider pricy my bill is $18.70. Just would like to question if how they count it. But I enjoyed my food and had full stomach after eating. The guy initially at the counter is more friendly and polite. After he came out from counter he greeted everyone when the customers came in. Perhaps he is the boss. Service I gave 3 stars because of the other 2 staffs. -- Visited again today 25 Apr The soup given was so little. Can't cover well the ingredients. I don't know what happened hopefully next time can give enough soup? -- Updated today 23 may Last few days visited here. The soup is really little not cover the ingredients at all. So this time I trouble the counter staff if can give slightly more. He said cannot add the soup. The staff ic cooking I think he heard that gave more soup for me. I ordered extra spicy level the highest for today. But not sure if extra soup added become more diluted? It is not like the most spiciness level. It's similar to mid level I used to eat before. Not happy with this time experience. ***Update on 28/1/26 Had my lunch just now after awhile didn't visit here. I don't understand why they need to top up their stock during peak hour. I went around 1pm. They can top up the stocks when closing shop right? Can't blame them but maybe is boss order. Can ask boss to review the timing for top up stock? The tall guy with strong China slang was instructing others to top up I guess he is the one make the lead, keep on coughing but not wearing mask or covering his mouth, it's so unhygienic! The food just left exposed there, and you are coughing in front of the food yuckssss When topping up they did cover the food for awhile, after that even no customer picking the ingredients they still left it open. Got one auntie feedback it's dusty but not sure if was understood by the staff. I think I won't visit next time if I see they are unloading their stocks then. Seriously I don't understand why you need to unload at this time. Affect your business also as limited space given to customers, and affect your customer quality to enjoy their food. It's so noisy and the China guy just keep on banging the side of my table which he placing the stocks below the seats - without feeling sorry.

Location kind of secluded (corner outside of pasir ris mall). Area not as spacious as other branches of YGF, but the food is still nice! Nice ambience for meals!

i have eaten at ygf pasir ris mall thrice recently! i love their malatang with tomato soup base very much. and the condiments are delicious :) the staff are also really proactive as they help with placing our bowls on the table and cleaning up too!! the dishes are prepared very quickly. highly recommended!
