"We were thoroughly impressed by the rich flavors and authenticity of the dishes at Tani Bistro & Bar! Service crew were great and the ambience outside is so pretty 🥰 Here’s what we tried and loved: 🧆 Sev Puri: An interesting, refreshing street-food appetiser to start the meal. Great contrast of textures with a lovely savory-tangy kick as well as the cold yoghurt and crispy puff shells! 5⭐️ 🍖Meat Platter ($30): Incredibly value-for-money. The chicken was beautifully marinated and remained super tender despite being grilled kebab-style. The rich, viscous curry in the center and the chilled mint chutney on the side elevated the entire platter. 4⭐️ 🥘Palak Paneer: Hands down our favorite! They definitely did not scrimp on the spinach. It was thick, creamy, and packed with huge cubes of paneer cheese. We literally scraped the bowl clean!! 5⭐️ 🐏Hyderabadi Mutton Masala: Perfectly spiced with zero gamey smell. The onions and green peppers gave it a great texture; perfect for scooping up with their garlic naan. 4⭐️ 🫓Garlic & Cheese Naan: Crispy on the edges, sweet-savory, and serves as the ultimate edible spoon for the curries 😆5⭐️ 🍛Prawn Biryani: Served warm in a claypot. A tiny bit on the drier side but incredibly aromatic, making it a great sharing portion for 2-3 pax. 3⭐️ 🥛Lassis & Fresh Lime Soda: The mango and strawberry lassis were thick and tangy. If you want a palate cleanser, get the salted lime soda for an isotonic refreshing burst, or the sweet one if you like it crisp! 3⭐️"

"Came here for a Christmas lunch, that is something that we never expect to be an amazing tasting menu day of 1826. Cafe deco ambience, just like in korea, menu is amazingly good spread that meets everyone needs. Their drip coffee is crafted with precision and that amazed me. We had really a feast... Cod fish risotto, the creamy tasty flavour is refreshing while you enjoy the cod fish fried in just right doness. Is a 5 🌟 dish dish. Nasi lemak is good chilli , fried chicken wings is delicious, simple food but not simple taste. Tiger prawn spaghetti top with fish roe, gives flavour as well as crunch to the dish Truffle fries, good generous cheese topping , Truffle oil can be more. Their mocha is rich in flavour and blended well with right milk. Since is Christmas we ordered a steak, was good portion for one and we all share the good texture beef that preserved the flavour of meet. Fish and chips , really generous using cod fish, wonder which restaurant now does that. Finally when we are full, we decided to take an adventure to tried their signature beef fried rice with 酸菜. This is really a great culinary invention . The chef is creative and place is totally amazingly great. Not in orchard road but a top grade resturant that priced very very reasonably. A place that I will visit every week."

"Pretty chill and nice place to relax. Came by as I was looking to try an izakaya. Food was decent overall, though honestly some items are on the higher end price-wise — especially when compared to other izakayas I frequent. That said, their squid is superb. Easily one of the best I’ve had, for sure. One small downside is the early closing time, but that’s understandable since it’s in a residential area. We were hoping to drink a little later but had to move on to another spot. Friendly bosses and team, which made the experience pleasant."

"Casual Asian restobar with a wide array of selection in their menu. The oysters were okay. Of course, gotta have that sisig to go with the drinks, a little barbequey, wasn't my favourite. The Vietnamese egg roll was fine, didn't really speak much to me. Vibe is chill, especially when sitting outside, and service was great. Food left me wanting for more."

"It’s a nice place that oversees grass field Service is quite slow even when I’m only customer. Strange when it’s sat afternoon Food is quite nice but portion very small. Mains are like appetiser sizing The lamb chops are very nice. Tender and nicely marinated though quite spicy The chicken momo I find it so so only. Skin too thick and flavor so so Nice place to come but quite inaccessible"

"Absolutely amazing place, the meats were fresh and well seasoned! Juicy steak from Korea. Had scallop consummate that really warms the tummy, ending with a comforting tiramisu. The conversations here are really priceless and the mood is really relaxing after a long day."

"Check out my other reviews at @pandareviewsfood 7 Tavern: 8.1/10 I finished work at 9 pm. As one expects, there really isn't much good food open at such a late timing. I opened Google Maps as a Hail Mary and found this place just right beside me. I love you, Google Maps, for finding me this gem. Moonlight Kuey Teow ($12): 8.3/10 I didn't expect much from pub food, but I was shocked at how good this was. It was simple, done well. The lard is fantastic, perfectly crispy and rich in flavour. This, along with the strong wok hey made this such a luxurious meal to eat. The chilli isn't anything novel either, just heat with a bit of acidity. However, this was just what was needed to make the wok hey pop even more. With a pint of Guinness, this is the perfect late-night meal to have. I understand that some people might not enjoy this place due to the rowdy atmosphere. Nevertheless, if you are just looking for a decently priced meal in Novena, this is perfect for you."

"Had a great experience at Chameleon Restaurant & Bar! The service was warm, attentive, and made us feel really welcomed from the moment we arrived. The food was just as impressive — the fish and chips were perfectly crispy on the outside and tender inside, and the Philippine chicken was full of flavour and cooked beautifully. Definitely dishes I’d come back for. It’s also a great place to chill and gather with friends or family — relaxed atmosphere, good vibes, and perfect for a casual night out. Overall, a lovely spot with delicious food, excellent service, and a welcoming ambience. Highly recommended!"

"Hidden gem, very good service, good food at great value prices. Apparently it’s a coworking space too and you can work there for a certain number of hours and get a free meal as part of the (very well priced) package. Worth visiting. Came here on a radio prize (thanks guys). Food exceeded our expectations. Was tasty and portions were generous. We brought our child and they even gave her some free food items too, on top of the prize dinner. Hospitality was really good. The truffle mushroom soup was really quite good - and it’s in the regular menu. Steak was pretty decent. We had a different cut of meat than the regular menu, so I’m sure the regular cut would be good too. The ambiance is ok, it’s nice for the space they’re in. Could do with a few more alcoholic beverage choices at dinner time, but that’s it a big deal. Will come back in the future to sample some of the other items, or maybe even use the coworking package. Do give this a go if you’re in the area!"

"Solid 4 stars. The semi buffet dinner is good value for money. Comes with the main course - the brisket and kampung chicken fried rice was excellent. The "signature" laksa lemak is really heavy, and "signature" burger was really dry. The starters had good extensive salad bar, the cold prawns were plump and juicy. Soups were watery. Desserts decent. Service was great and lovely view from the restaurant. Very worth the money. Tends to be full, so do reserve."

"Have been putting off visiting as it seemed difficult to drive here, but it turned out to be very straightforward. It was just a turn after exiting CTE at Exit 7C. The carpark was empty and spacious, and while the lobby is not particularly grand, the security staff was friendly and directed us clearly to the only lift lobby. We also appreciated how pet-friendly the place is. Upon checking, we learned that dogs do not need to be in a stroller and are allowed in both the lift and lobby. At first, we almost missed the cafe and bar as we thought it was a Starbucks due to the prominent poster and logo indicating that Starbucks-grade coffee is served here. We were attended to by Sara, who was friendly and professional. Upon request, he offered us a seat in the indoor pet-friendly area. Both the pet menu and the human menu were presented after we were seated. We ordered the pork chow for our dog, as he is allergic to many other proteins. While the stated 80g portion may seem miserly, it is generously supplemented with a good variety of fibre-rich vegetables. For ourselves, we had the satay, prawn cake, char kway teow and ribeye. The food had a nostalgic, old-school charm, with cooking reminiscent of honest local restaurant fare before the Michelin-star hype in Singapore. We also tried three of the six available cocktails and thoroughly enjoyed them, which were well-balanced, properly shaken and thoughtfully crafted. The ribeye and satay were cooked to our liking. The only weak point was the pork lard in the char kway teow, which tasted stale and spoilt an otherwise enjoyable plate of cholesterol. Before we left, our dog was offered a complimentary pup cup, which was a lovely gesture. Overall, it was a very enjoyable meal and we look forward to returning, especially since we did not have enough room to try the desserts. Thank you Sara, for the great service!"

"First time having dinner at the Paddock Bistro although we have breakfast and lunch here a lot. We sat on a table close to the poolside with views towards the pool and the polo field. (I’ve been told that if I bring a pet, that would be possible if I book the chukka table below so maybe next time I’ll try that.) My guest ordered chicken wings to start and some soda, followed by beef hor fun with gravy. He’s allergic to shrimp so it’s good to note that the base hor fun is vegetarian and then you’d order the beef on top of that, hence there’s no shrimp at all. There’s only shrimp if you order the seafood as an add on to the vegetarian base. My son ordered a spaghetti bolognaise with shrimp and bacon added on. He and I then ordered a plate of steak frites each. I was surprised he finished everything! I myself was quite hungry and polished off my steak frites with ease. None of us ordered dessert this time as we were stuffed but there was an interesting array of small cakes next to us. Of note I felt the service was excellent, in fact even more attentive than during breakfast and lunch service. Might make dinner at the club a more regular affair."

"Came for the complementary breakfast buffet and welcome drink at lunchtime. Breakfast buffet: Good selections of beverages. Limited choices of Western style, Chinese, Indian, and Japanese food. Crispy Hash brown. Fresh fruits (I like papaya). Not bad for simple breakfast. Welcome drinks: different from the beverages station of breakfast buffet. For takeaways or dine in. Very busy at the breakfast buffet. So quiet during lunchtime in spite of lunch special promotion. Service: efficient, prompt. Smiles. Friendly and polite staff. Refill food and clean up very fast. So far, the best service among IBIS hotel's restaurants (compare with Singapore, Japan, and Australia). --- 8/10 Venue: typical decor. Slightly packed. Clean and tidy. Ourdoors dining is available. TV new during breakfast."

Instead, it offers 3 types of cuisines (Filipino, Western and Asian). + Authentic Filipino cuisine + Live entertainment + "Down-to-earth" pricing It transforms into a bar at night with live music (Tue - Sun from 7:30pm).
