We were thoroughly impressed by the rich flavors and authenticity of the dishes at Tani Bistro & Bar! Service crew were great and the ambience outside is so pretty πŸ₯° Here’s what we tried and loved: β€‹πŸ§† Sev Puri: An interesting, refreshing street-food appetiser to start the meal. Great contrast of textures with a lovely savory-tangy kick as well as the cold yoghurt and crispy puff shells! 5⭐️ β€‹πŸ–Meat Platter ($30): Incredibly value-for-money. The chicken was beautifully marinated and remained super tender despite being grilled kebab-style. The rich, viscous curry in the center and the chilled mint chutney on the side elevated the entire platter. 4⭐️ πŸ₯˜Palak Paneer: Hands down our favorite! They definitely did not scrimp on the spinach. It was thick, creamy, and packed with huge cubes of paneer cheese. We literally scraped the bowl clean!! 5⭐️ πŸβ€‹Hyderabadi Mutton Masala: Perfectly spiced with zero gamey smell. The onions and green peppers gave it a great texture; perfect for scooping up with their garlic naan. 4⭐️ β€‹πŸ«“Garlic & Cheese Naan: Crispy on the edges, sweet-savory, and serves as the ultimate edible spoon for the curries πŸ˜†5⭐️ πŸ›Prawn Biryani: Served warm in a claypot. A tiny bit on the drier side but incredibly aromatic, making it a great sharing portion for 2-3 pax. 3⭐️ πŸ₯›β€‹Lassis & Fresh Lime Soda: The mango and strawberry lassis were thick and tangy. If you want a palate cleanser, get the salted lime soda for an isotonic refreshing burst, or the sweet one if you like it crisp! 3⭐️

We had such a wonderful dining experience at Tani Bistro! ❀️ The ambience was cosy, relaxing, and perfect for spending quality time with family and friends. The hospitality was truly warm and welcoming throughout our visit. We tried quite a variety of dishes and genuinely enjoyed everything. The Dahi Puri was refreshing and flavourful, the Hara Bhara Kebab was soft and delicious, and the Chicken Lollipop was juicy with great seasoning. The Karai Mutton was rich and comforting, while the Methi Fish had amazing flavours. The Paneer Butter Masala paired perfectly with the soft Cheese Naan, and the Egg Fried Rice was super satisfying too. For drinks and dessert, we loved the Sweet Lime Soda, Sweet Lassi, and especially the Mango Matka Kulfi β€” such a perfect ending to the meal! 😍 Definitely a great spot for Indian food lovers looking for good food, beautiful ambience, and heartfelt hospitality. Will surely visit again!

Enjoyed the food and ambience at Tani Bistro & Bar. The Kerala fish curry was rich and tangy with a nice coconut flavour, and the garlic naan was crispy and buttery. The tandoori dishes were flavourful too. Nice spot for a casual meal in Balestier.

Amazing indian food in Singapore. The staff is really polite and well trained. Special thanks to Neetu for her great service. She was our go-to person here in this restaurant. Amazing service. Do visit this place if you are in Singapore and looking for amazing food.

The food was generally fine, with the Veg Pakoras standing out as the highlight β€” really well done. However, the service left quite a bit to be desired. Even though many tables were occupied outside, most of the staff seemed to be inside, which made the experience feel a bit unattended. The place itself has a calm and pleasant atmosphere, so there’s definitely potential. I’m willing to give it another try, assuming this might have just been an off day for the team based on the reviews shared before my experience.
