First time having dinner at the Paddock Bistro although we have breakfast and lunch here a lot. We sat on a table close to the poolside with views towards the pool and the polo field. (I’ve been told that if I bring a pet, that would be possible if I book the chukka table below so maybe next time I’ll try that.) My guest ordered chicken wings to start and some soda, followed by beef hor fun with gravy. He’s allergic to shrimp so it’s good to note that the base hor fun is vegetarian and then you’d order the beef on top of that, hence there’s no shrimp at all. There’s only shrimp if you order the seafood as an add on to the vegetarian base. My son ordered a spaghetti bolognaise with shrimp and bacon added on. He and I then ordered a plate of steak frites each. I was surprised he finished everything! I myself was quite hungry and polished off my steak frites with ease. None of us ordered dessert this time as we were stuffed but there was an interesting array of small cakes next to us. Of note I felt the service was excellent, in fact even more attentive than during breakfast and lunch service. Might make dinner at the club a more regular affair.

Was only told after we came down with reservations that it is closed to public on weekends and public holidays. Waitress said that she send a msg to ask if I was a member the day before but I did not receive. Only receive a msg this morn to ask if I was a member and no reply after. She then dismissively ask us to sit at one corner complaining how she did msg me and ask if I was a member and that non members are not allowed on weekends blah..I mean why accept bookings on chope on weekends then? Don't understand..total spoiler of our weekend and naturally I wouldn't want to stay. Made a wasteful trip down, and sad to say we did not get to try the food and doubt any good service from the attitude of theirs.

This bistro is located inside the Singapore Polo Club, and is opened to non-members. Very nice place just by the field and pool. I only had beer here, which was rather expensive (as expected). Service was too shoddy for club setting.

I booked at The Paddock initially. We had a delightful dining experience at The Coriander Restaurant in the Singapore Polo Club on Thursday, 4th July, with my best friend instead. We savored the sting ray, Tandoori chicken, and Coriander Salad with beancurd, all of which were incredibly delicious. They even surprised us with a complimentary starter, which was a pleasant and tasty addition to our meal. A special thank you to Irvin (I hope I got his name right), who was very attentive and patient with us despite the restaurant being quite crowded that night and short-staffed. His excellent service made our evening even more enjoyable. We love this place and will definitely be back again soon!

A quiet cosy bistro located inside the secluded Polo Club. Open to non-members on weekdays. It has a good selection of western dishes and local delights. Serving portion is on the generous side and taste is good.
